Wedge Antilles:

          Wedge Antilles was born and raised on outer Gus Treta in the Corellian System. As a teenager he was orphaned after fleeing pirates killed his parents. at the age of sixteen he bought a stock light freighter using money from an insurance settlement and tried to start a legitimate shipping business but soon found himself smuggling weapons for the Rebellion.
          He assisted Luke Skywalker in the destruction of the first Death Star. He later joined the group of hot shot pilots named Rogue Squadron. during the Battle of Hoth he and other group members piloted their snowspeeders against the Empire's massive AT-AT's and General Veers. Antilled was later promoted to Commander and took command of Rogue Squadron.
          He worked closely with Lando Calrissian and Admiral Ackbar in planning an attack on the second Death Star. During the Battle of Endor Antilles and Calrissian luanched missiles and torpedoes into the Death Star's reactor core that caused it to explode.
          Antilles and the squadron later went undercover on Coruscant to bring down the planetary sheilds for an alliance invasion that was a success. Antilles finally reached the rank of general but still kept command of Rogue Squadron.
          He later became a bodyguard and escort for Qwi Xux, a beautiful and brilliant scientist. Qwi Xux helped the Imperial forces create a new super weapon shich she was now determined to destroy. Antiles and Xux began to fall in love when one of Skywalker's Jedi trainees was seduced by the darkside and midwiped Qwi Xux removing nearly all of her memories.
          Wedge Antilles is a distinguished, heroic figure and is well respected in the New Republic. He is proud of his accomplishments and those of his squadron.
