Admiral Daala is the Empire's highest ranking female. she is one of the New Republic's main military threats. As a female in the Imperial Academy on Carida she endured unfair assignments and taunting. She excelled in one of the toughest militay schools. Grand Moff Tarkin took notice of her and took her in as a protege and a lover.
To keep her and his new project hidden from the Emperor, Tarkin put Daala in charge of the Maw Installatiion, a top-secret weapons research facility in the black-hole feilds outside Kessel. Tarkin also gave her the rank of Admiral and command of four Star Destroyers. After 11 years of isolation an Imperial shuttle arrived at the Maw Installation. On board the shuttle were Han Solo, Chewbacca, and Kyp Durron who had just escaped from the spice mines in Kessel. After interrogating them she found that Tarkin was dead, both Death Stars were destroyed, and the Empire had fallen. Daala was furious.
Daala decided to take revenge on the New Republic. She unleashed her ultimate weapon, the Sun Crusher. Han Solo had convinced Qwi Xux to free them and togehter they stole the only working model. Daala, now even more enraged, destroyed a colony on Dantooine and most of the Kessel fleet. It if were'nt for Admiral Ackbar's brilliant tactics, she would have destroyed Mon Calamari. Daala lost two Star Destroyers in the process.Her plan to destroy Coruscant, the seat of New Republic power, was foiled by Kyp Durron. Durron destroyed her third Star Destroyer and severly damaged her ship, the Gorgon by launching sun-destroying torpedoes from the Sun Crusher.
With most of her power diminished she tried to unite the feuding warlords who were the Imperial authority. Since she was destined to fail she instead used nerve gas to kill thriteen leading warlords and take control of all Imperial forces. She also took control of a Super Star Destroyer she called Knight Hammer.
She would face the New Republic again and again she would fail. She would become president of the Independant Company of Settlers some years later. The ICS is a large group of beings strong and loyal to the old ways. Later Daala and her long-lost love Leige Vorn were re-united. Daala and her people would go on thier own way and live out their dayson the planet Peduccis Chorios, where they bought 1.5 billion acres of land from the warlord K'iin of the Silver Unifer, unhampered by the New Republic.
