Jabba (Desilijic Tiure) the Hutt:

          Jabba is the son of a major Hutt clan leader. He comes from a long line of criminals. By the time he was 600 years old, he massed a major criminal empire. Jabba was raised by his father, Zorba, on Nal Hutta.
          Jabba then moved to Tatooine where he eventually found home at a palace built around the ancient B'omarr monk monastery. Jabba would entertain and hold court in a large throne room in the center of the palace. His criminal empire stretched through the Outer Rim Territories and beyond. His criminal activities knew no boundries. His criminal activities would include piracy, slave trading, smuggling, glitterstim spice dealing, protection, assassination, and loan sharking.
          With the exception of two beings, all had a conspiracy to overthrow Jabba and take over his criminal empire. The only two beings loyal to him were Ephant Mon, a Chevin whose life he saved, and Salacious Crumb, a Kowakian whose sole purpose was to make Jabba laugh at least once a day.
          Below the Imperial Correction Facility on Kessel were glitterstim spice mines. From here is where Jabba got his spice. The smugglers Han Solo and the Wookiee Chewbacca were on Jabba's payroll until Solo had to drop a cargo of the spice before being boarded by Imperial soldiers. Jabba was enraged and had him brought in. He met Solo on Docking Bay 94 on Tatooine and allowed him to transport some passengers but Solo had to pay him with the proceeds plus 15%. The trip was more than Solo had bargained for. Never the less he gained a large reward and on his way to pay Jabba he was boarded by pirates and his reward was stolen.
          Jabba was enraged and ordered an hit on Solo. Thanks to Darth Vader and Boba Fett, Solo was delivered to Jabba encased in carbonite. Jabba enjoyed decorating his throne room with such a magnificent ornament. Solo's friends weren't to thrilled though. After Luke Skywalker confronted Jabba and killed his pet Rancor he ordered them to be killed by the Sarlacc whose resting place was at the Great Pit of Carkoon.
          Jabba had greatly underestimated Solo's friends and paid the price for it. After a battle ensued, Leia Organa, who was dressed in a revealing outfit and chained close to Jabba, took her chain and strangled the crime lord to death.
