Lando Calrissian:

          Lando Calrissian is a gambler and entrepenuer. He has been a long time friend of Han Solo. They have had their disputes but none the less, they remain friends. At one time the Millenium Falcon was owned by Lando but his gambling desires caused him to lose the famous ship to Solo on a game of Sabacc. In fact the shop has exchanged possession between the two gamblers because of the game. Lando once flew the ship to the Rafa System in search of treasure on the nearby planets. He brought along Vuffi Raa, a pilot droid he won.
          The largest stake Lando has won has to be Cloud City on the planet Bespin. He took over as Baron Administrator of Cloud City and proved he could run a legitimate business which mined Tibanna gas.
          His business lasted as long as the Empire allowed it. Just before he allowed Han Solo and his friends to dock on Cloud City Darth Vader visited him. Vader made a deal with Lando. If Lando held Solo and his friends there, the Empire would never bother Cloud City again. If not, they would all be destroyed. Lando agreed, but Vader kept altering the deal. Vader's plan was to set a trap to capture Luke Skywalker. Vader was using Solo and his friends as bait. Vader's plan nearly worked but Lando joined forces with Princess Leia and Chewbacca to try and free Han who was encased in carbonite and given to the bounty hunter Boba Fett. Calrissian ordered an evacuation of the city and left with Leia and Chewie. Before leaving Bespin on the Millenium Falcon they rescued a near dead Skywalker from a weather vane beneath the city.
          Lando attempted to rescue Solo from the bounty hunter Boba Fett but failed. He later infiltrated Jabba the Hutt's crime syndicate (which is where Solo was taken by Boba Fett) disguised, and under the name Tamtel Skreej. He used the name in fear that someone in Jabba's Palace might recognize him. With his aid Leia released Solo from the carbonite and later was rescued by Calrissian and Skywalker. Han immediately returned the favor by pulling Carissian to safety from the mouth of the Sarlacc in the Tatooine desert.
          For his display of skill and courage at the Battle of Tenaab the Alliance gave him the rank of general. He aided in the lead at the Battle of Endor. He in the Falcon and Wedge Antilles in an X-Wing destroyed the second Death Star.
          After the Rebel's victory Lando returned to his private life emerging every so often to aid the Rebellion, rescue his friends, or embark in another adventure. From supplying the Rebellion with raw materials from the planet Nkllon to helping Skywalker find Jedi recruits, Calrissian is always busy. He helped command forces at the Battle of Calamari. Calrissian was a leading member of the New Republic special forces team called SPIN (Senate Interplanetary Intelligence Network). He was also the Baron Administrator of a dome-covered floating amusement park called Hologram Fun World.
          Lando Calrissian will always be a gambler, risk taker, and business man. As long as there is property to be won or money to be lost Lando Calrissian will be around.
