This is where I learned the basics of HTML umpteen years ago when I first started my homepage. With this, you can create a page, and once you have the foundation you can learn to add Java and such.

Color Code Chart

A nice page that shows BOTH the colour and the code. You can customize the colors in your body tags with these, and change the background, text and link colors.
