THE VESTRY OF ST. ANDREW’S EPISCOPAL CHURCH

The Vestry is the governing body of the Church comprising 12 men and women elected by the general parish members at the Annual Parish Meeting. The Vestry meets approximately once a month with the Rector to set policies, administer funds, and generally oversee the operation of the Church. Vestry members are elected for staggered three-year terms so that with election, new members are elected to replace retiring members.

ATTRIBUTES OF OUR VESTRY MEMBERS

Almighty and ever living God, source of all wisdom and understanding, be present with the Vestry for the mission of  your Church.  Teach the Vestry in all things to seek first your honor and glory.  Guide them to perceive what is right, and grant both the courage to pursue it and the grace to accomplish it; through Jesus Christ our Lord.  Amen.
