Mom was able to get back on her computer and send out an update. This is what she wrote. Well, folks, time for an update. Life has been helll, but as someone once said, "If life or the situation is hell, and you feel like you are in hell, just keep going. Don't stay." I tripped and broke my arm, but that is coming along just fine. My tumor stopped growing so they stopped chemo , and they are keeping a check on me and no chemo for now. And I say NOT EVER because I am not going to need it. So if you wish to agree with me, no more chemo at $3,000 for only 20 pills. Signs of restoration are real obvious.
I fell again in May and had blood on the brain. Doing okay from that fall. I have lost 45 pounds, but I am not looking for it. And if you find, it, please keep it as I do not want it. My hair has all grown back, and I actually did my own hair for the first time recently. Please pray for our little family. John is really getting maxed out caring for me. Friends have come and taken me home overnight to give him a much-needed break, and I thank them so much.
Thank you so much for your prayers. Keep them coming. My husband and daughter were told I had two weeks left to live a year ago, and here I am one year after that! I plan to continue to beat the odds.
You are loved and cherished. Thank you for everything. The money in particular has been a blessing. John is the best caregiver anyone could ever want. He spoils me rotten.
