Health and Happiness
   It isn't easy to find balance in our lives.  There are so many demands on our time, our resources, and our energies. 
    So often we find ourselves caring for others, and that's ok.  That is so much of what we are here on this earth for, to care for each other.       But we must remember to take good care of ourselves.  We must be sure that our own needs-physical, emotional, and spiritual are being met. 
    When our bodies, minds, and spirits are working at peak capacity, we will find ourselves overflowing, with plenty to share with the rest of the world.  But if we deny ourselves of the things that are vital to our good health and happiness, we will be working at a deficit, with nothing left over to give away.
  
   Make time to spend in the presence of God.  Enjoy a leisurely visit with family or friends.  Plan something special for just you and your sweetheart.
    Be sure to schedule time with yourself...
Chase a butterfly, feed the birds, take a long walk, dip your toes in a stream.  Have tea with a friend you haven't seen in awhile. Listen to music that  YOU love, sing along with wild abandon.  Bake something yummy, try a new recipe.  Relax in a warm bath, get a manicure, or even better-a massage!  Try doing something different with your hair.  Buy a really fun hat...then WEAR IT! 
     Do whatever it takes to remind yourself that 
                                                    ...YOU ARE SPECIAL IN YOUR OWN RIGHT.

Because, as they say in the haircolor ad, YOU'RE WORTH IT!  ~
