I have a few items to discuss. They are important items to me. They involve today's general consensus, that is: today's mainstream ideology, the current doctrine endorsed by the elite demagogues seated in high profile places (media, schools, government, psychiatry, various special interest groups). The "current wisdom." Almost all of it goes against the wisdom and doctrines of God found in His Word.
The first world doctrine that I hate, which I will now point out is this: Emotionalism.
They say:
Emotions are the most important thing about us. How we feel is who we are and it is our seat of conscious being. Obtaining our own happiness is the whole goal of one's life. The sum of our existence is how happy we are. And the quality of our lives is measured by our own happiness and self esteem.
This is a complete lie! It fosters a lot of ill will, haughty pride, selfishness, and complete lack of accountability and responsibility. This line of thinking is the source of most of society's trouble. Why? Because, number one: it puts one's self first, even before God. It elevates the self to be one's own god to worship. That is idolatry at its' worse. Raising emotions to a level to be revered above all else is also idolatry.
It hurts all relationships. At best, it pushes God's will to second place. And that prevents or severs a relationship with God. It also puts a wedge between people at all levels: marriage, the work place, friendships, parents & children, and on and on.
The love of money, which Paul said is the root of all evil (1 Tim 6:10), really is the fuel that keeps this selfish motor purring.
Emotionalism stands opposite and strives against the love of God. Those that practice this way of life tend to naturally hate God's people. Because God's people are concerned more with other people's welfare, and they tend to excel because of that. They are constantly rewarded by God through people who are pleased to work with God's people because of their integrity. This drives the egotists crazy. When the seekers of self happiness win, or get a shiny prize of some sort, they wear it proudly and prominently. They think that material gain is equal to godliness, in that God must be blessing them because they themselves must be that good!
God's people know that it isn't because that they are good that God is blessing them, but because they are humble. Mercy & grace is what children of God pray for, not for ways to impress other people. They do not boast & brag like most people do. If there is a dispute as to who gets the shiny prize, they automatically want to give it to the cry baby to keep the peace. They defer to other people to help build them up and to depend on God first and foremost. That is love which can only come from God via the holy spirit gift! But, the whining cry babies will chalk it off as another personal victory unto themselves, never admitting that a politically incorrect child of God let them take the prize.
Here is the SHOCKER!!! The line which enrages politically correct, worldly indoctrinated demagogues... Ready for it? Here it is:
The brain can & should control one's own emotions!
How dare I? Why is that so hard to believe? Because people don't want to believe it. If this got out, why, they couldn't emotionally blackmail people anymore like they do every day!!!
I'm right and I can prove it Scripturally. Messiah said to love your enemies. If he expects us to love our enemies, which it is only human nature to hate our enemies, then what he is saying is that we can decide not to hate that individual but to love him instead! So, then if Messiah is saying that we can control love and hatred the two most opposite extremes of emotions, then it follows that we should be able to control every emotion in-between! Where do emotions come from? Our thoughts. Where are our thoughts? In our brains. Therefore, our brains can control our emotions. CAN. That doesn't mean we do. Messiah is saying we SHOULD control our emotions towards love. But, it easier for us to indulge in self seeking pride & "happiness."
Good-bye, wife. I don't love you anymore, let's divorce. Bye, little children, you can visit me every other week end! No one can blame me, I only want to be happy.
HOW COMPLETELY SICK & NAUSEATING!!!
Another main stream world doctrine that I hate is: Thou shall not judge me.
They say:
No one has the right to "judge" someone else. There is no "right" or "wrong." Do not impose your values on someone else. If it feels good, do it. I have a right to say whatever I want in public, but, you have no right to question me, because: A) Who are you to judge me? B) That's just your opinion! C) It shows that you just want to argue and everyone knows that is "mean spirited!"
This is another very popular doctrine which is destroying America right now in lots of ways. Those terrorist were able to do what they did on 9-11-01 because for over 37 years our society has been in this politically correct straight jacket where we as a people have been too timid to ask the hard questions, to face the grim realities. For instance, should we practice racial profiling in airports? That would be judging & discriminitory. So what? Might hurt someones feelings? Too bad!!! Does any one who worries about such things like people's feeling rememember that these terrorist Arab Muslims flew those planes into the Twin Towers and the Pentagon after slicing the pilots throats? OK, they win. Let's just frisk everyone just to be fair; even white, blond haired girls and white old ladies and little kids all of whom speak perfect English. Just tie up the lines and make everyone wait for hours instead of thoroughly checking out shady looking Arabs that have no proper I.D. visas and passports. After all, we shouldn't judge.
The Bible does say not to judge if you are judging in hypocrisy. The Bible also says to judge between right & wrong without hypocrisy. I will place the Scripture verses in here tomorrow night, as it is late at night now. But, God does want us to confront evil, especially when it is occurring within the fellowship of believers. If a person does not repent after being admonished first by one, then by two , then by the whole congregation, then that person must be expelled from the church.
We have seen the gradual death of shame in this country starting in the sixties. Now, there is no shame left at all in the main stream media, or with those in public life. And this lack of shame is rampant in big cities and spreading like wild fire in modern suburbia.
The other thing that is dying along side of shame is outrage. There is hardly any outrage left anymore since no one is surprised at the more & more outlandish and brazen crimes, idolatries, murders & indecencies.
This country by enlarge will not repent unfortunately until the very end of the Wrath of God period; but, by then, there will only be 50 - 66% of the people left. Don't say we haven't told you so.
