This is going to be sort of a filler chapter…but it will lead into a very VERY dark chapter…

Deep within the depths of Naraku’s empty soul…

There are two parts to every soul. A pure whiteness…that childhood innocence that never goes away and a dank blackness…the kind that is as putrid as yesterday’s garbage. But in the midst of this truth, there is one exception. There is a type of soul that is borne out of pure, unadulterated evil. There is only one type of area in this type of soul. It’s where depravity meets its match with a type of persistent carnality and is the being known as Naraku…

Hisato’s throne room…

Naraku lounged in the plush velvet and silk of the many pillows that made up the throne of the Northern Lands. Having already sent out Hisato’s son, Naraku soon realized that this plan would not fool the Demon Lord. It had been tried before. The former Eastern Lord had proved this to be true. So the evil hanyou had recalled the brainwashed prince and went back to the drawing boards. But the ideas were not forthcoming…

Naraku longed to have the tainted Shikon No Tama in his grasp once again. But now it was almost unattainable; for now it lay around the neck of its protector. Naraku sneered at himself at thought of the powerful Miko. Not only did she resemble Kikyo, the Miko also held a vast amount of energy that in the end had been twice as powerful as Kikyo. When Naraku had created a new heart for himself, he had expected to escape the tendencies of that human Onigumo. But the thief’s soul was so entwined with that of Naraku’s that the evil hanyou found himself thinking more and more of Kikyo’s reincarnation.

Soon, Naraku’s thoughts touched on the so-called ‘invulnerable’ Demon Lord. It had been years since the hanyou had dealt with Sesshoumaru personally in a rather long time. Then, a truly sinister plot formed in Naraku’s head. “That’s it!!!” Naraku’s maniac laughter filled the entire caslte with a certain dread…

Yes, I know that this is incredibly short…but the next chapter is a biggy…since I will be wrapping this fic up soon…
