Whispers of Desire

Sesshoumaru’s Castle…

“Kagome-onee-chan!!! Sesshoumaru-sama brought you back to Rin!” Sesshoumaru’s ward squealed into Kagome’s hakama.  The Miko smiled down at her little friend, “Yes he did, Rin-chan.” Sesshoumaru stood by and watched the exchange, flickers of amusement tickling his mouth. ‘The Miko is good for Rin,’ the Demon Lord mused. Kagome caught Sesshoumaru’s eyes and smiled shyly.  The Demon Lord looked away, his face turning back to its usual stoniness.

Jaken came scurrying up to his master, “Lord Sesshoumaru, you’re home…Ack! Why is she here?” Sesshoumaru looked down at the quivering ball of green walking ooze, “Are you questioning my decisions again, Jaken?” The toad demon immediately groveled, “I am sorry, my Lord. What is to be my punishment?” Sesshoumaru smirked, “Take Rin and go pick flowers.” Jaken shuddered but obeyed. 

When the grumbling frog and little girl were outside, Sesshoumaru turned to Kagome and said, somewhat angrily, “What were you doing traveling with that wolf?” Kagome raised an eyebrow; “He traveled with me in order to take watch for Inuyasha.” The Demon Lord growled, deep in his throat, “You will not see that wolf again, Miko.” Kagome’s temper flared in her a bit, “I can see whom I want. You do not own me.” Sesshoumaru bit out, “You are under my protection so therefore you obey me, only.” Kagome scowled and thought to herself, ‘What is with inu-youkai and this protective streak!’ The Miko stood firm in her stubbornness, “I come and go of my own free will, Sesshoumaru-sama.”

In one swift movement of air, Kagome was slammed against the wall with a very irate Demon Lord staring her in the face. “You continue to defy me, Miko?” Kagome lifted her chin in one last effort to regain her dignity, “You. do. not. own. me.” Sesshoumaru’s eyes tinted a bit red, “You will learn that I am to be obeyed.” But instead of carrying out his threat, Sesshoumaru bent his head down to inhale the Miko’s scent. Kagome shuddered, the first tendrils of desire snaking up her spine. Never, even when Inuyasha did this same thing, had Kagome felt this…excited. Sesshoumaru sensed the change in Kagome’s scent and smirked.

Taking a chance on his instincts, Sesshoumaru dipped down and captured Kagome’s mouth in a soul-searing hot-blooded lip-meld. All thought was banished from the Miko’s mind as she responded to the Demon Lord’s kiss. Sesshoumaru’s inner demons screamed at him to stop but he was intrigued by this woman’s inner fires.

Kagome deepened the kiss by wrapping her arms around Sesshoumaru’s shoulders and pulling him closer. Sesshoumaru growled and moaned at the same time and moved from Kagome’s mouth to her neck. Nipping lightly with his fangs, Sesshoumaru further trapped Kagome in a desire-filled cocoon. Stopping at the juncture of neck and shoulder, Sesshoumaru prepared to bite down. Kagome gripped the Demon Lord’s head and moaned. That drove the Demon Lord over the edge. Sinking his fangs into Kagome’s flesh, Sesshoumaru lightly tasted the Miko’s blood. Kagome whimpered, bearing the pain and slowing sank into an unconscious stupor. Sesshoumaru slowly came to himself and found, to his shock, a marked human female. Swearing at himself, the Demon Lord carried the Miko to her former quarters and called for the healer.

Kagome’s Dream Scape

Kagome stood in a grassy plain, clutching at her neck. Pulling her hand back, the Miko was shocked to see her own blood. Hazy memories came to her and Kagome realized the impact of hers and Sesshoumaru’s actions…The Demon Lord had marked her as his…so now…she was his, Sesshoumaru’s…mate? No. That could not happen until the coupling…I allowed him to bite me…I enjoyed it…Oh GOD! End of DreamScape

There…the chapter is a bit longer…Grr….I can’t sit still enough to write 5 or 6 pages…
