Here it is folks!  Part Two of Control…There will be points in this fic where you will hate my guts because of a certain hanyou but my pairing remains the same…Sesshoumaru and Kagome Forever!!!  Anyways, enjoy…

Prologue…

Inuyasha’s Forest…

            The hanyou called Inuyasha ran a clawed hand through his tangled white hair.  Dragging a deer corpse back to the cave that he dwelt in, Inuyasha ripped into the flesh and chewed voraciously.  Only a trickle of coherent thoughts played across the hanyou’s crazed brain… “Vengeance…Kagome…”

Kaede’s village…

            “Please, Miko-san. Can you heal my daughter?” A nameless woman begged of Kagome.  Kagome smiled benignly, “Yes. Lead me to her.”  The woman led Kagome to a small hut on the edge of the growing village.  Inside, a small girl lay on a futon.  Her angelic face was red with fever.  The Miko immediately ordered the woman to receive her herb pack from her hut.  Kagome threw another blanket over the girl’s body and soon the mother arrived with the herbs.  Fetching some water from the well, Kagome whipped an herbal tea remedy and slowly fed it to the girl.  Day soon turned into night as Kagome kept a silent vigil over the young girl, whose name was Ayumi.  The Miko soon began thinking of the past month. 

Having arrived just three weeks ago from her adventure with Sesshoumaru, Kagome could not get him out of her head.  She also worried about Inuyasha.  She had yet again tried the well in a futile attempt to get home.  The old well still refused to work.  The look in the hanyou’s eyes…they held so much hurt in their golden depths that Kagome was brought to tears once again.  Now there were reports of a silver-haired demon residing in Inuyasha’s forest.  The villagers were beginning to regard the forest with fear once again.  For the reports also spoke of the demon wanting revenge on humans.  Kagome could only speculate on the mysterious demon’s identity.  Finally, the Miko saw the first lights of morning appear in the hut.  Ayumi’s fever had broken and the young mother thanked Kagome profusely.  The Miko smiled and went home to her hut to rest a bit before starting the day.

 But when Kagome turned around to wave goodbye, there was a gigantic explosion and a great fireball arose out of the hut.  Kagome watched in horror as mother and child were blown about ten feet back onto the ground.  A red streak burst out of the flames and before Kagome could blink again, she was lifted up into the air by the neck.  Kagome’s eyes had closed from the shock but the lifting sensation opened them.  Brown looked into red-tinged gold.  “Inu..Erk..Yasha?” Kagome sputtered.  Yes, it was Inuyasha.  But without Tetsusaiga, the hanyou was borderline insane.  “You die, MIKO!!!”  The hanyou growled loudly.  Kagome was about to lose consciousness when an arrow streaked towards Inuyasha.  It was Kaede! 

Inuyasha howled in pain and turned to face his new opponent.  Kagome collapsed.  “Thou must be put to rest, Inuyasha!” Kaede called, determined to reunite the hanyou with Kikyo in hell.  Drawing another arrow, Kaede made to shoot but it was already too late.  The old Miko sunk to the ground, shock written on her face.  Inuyasha had plunged his hand through Kaede’s chest and proceeded to lick her blood off his claws.  Kagome struggled to get up but she was overcome by darkness…the last thing the Miko heard was the approach of feet…
