Darkness
Sesshoumaru’s fur whipped in the wind as he bounded over forests and
villages. The Northern castle lay just ahead. The enraged Demon Lord let
out an ear-piercing howl and thundered on towards his target.
The outskirts of the forest of Inuyasha...
Inuyasha ran down the familiar trails to Kaede’s forest. But there was
something horribly wrong. The air was thick with the stench of blood.
Inuyasha slowed his pace until he saw the burning embers of the village.
Than, near the steps of the shrine, the hanyou saw the graves. Breathless,
Inuyasha raced towards the makeshift graveyard and read aloud every
villagers name. When he came to the last grave, Inuyasha feared the worst.
It was Kaede’s grave. All this time, he had tried to do good; tried to
reform. But he was nothing but a monster. Inuyasha broke down, bodily and
spiritually. His spirit broken and Tetsusaiga no where to be found, a swirl
of red and gray youki gathered around the slumped figure of Inuyasha,
transforming him into a full-blooded demon. Snarling, the now berserk
hanyou sniffed the air and took off towards the North...
About a mile away from the Northern Lands...
Kagome ran with all her might to keep up with Sesshoumaru. Even with her
new abilities, Kagome could not keep up with the enraged Demon Lord. The
Shikon No Tama glittered black in the waning sunlight as Kagome caught
sight of Hisato’s castle. ‘He will PAY! I will slay Naraku with my own
hands...’
Deep within Hisato’s castle...
Naraku chuckled evilly as his plans were materializing. “Finally...after 50
years of waiting, the Shikon is beautifully tainted. I knew the miko had it
in her.” The evil demon paced back and forth in his chambers. Although this
was what he wanted all along, Naraku wondered whether it was a wise idea to
confront his pawns so early in the game...
