Caro Badcock

Caro Badcock holds a BSc in mathematics and Statistics, a Dip Ed for mathematics, and a Masters of Applied Statistics, all from Macquarie University. She initially worked as a biometrician with Scientific Services, Sydney Water, and later became Biostatistician at Royal North Shore Hospital. Early in 1995 Caro moved on to become Statistician at Astra Pty Ltd, at the time one of the top three pharmaceutical companies in Australia. Due to a merger Astra became AstraZeneca in 1998 and Caro created and was awarded the position of Manager, Biostatistics and Data Management. She became an Accredited Statistician in 1998. In October 2001 Caro commenced her own consulting business, Shimsco Consulting, where she currently has clients mainly in the pharmaceutical and hospital environments.
