Going into this match, no one knew what had happened to Eugene Jr. in the past month, except for Sammibal and Kid Rock. At Unforgiven, after Hunter and Eugene Jr. lost the titles, Eugene was kidnapped by Sammibal and Kid Rock. Little is known about what exactly happened, but guts were later found by a sleeping crack addict named Rat Boy. A possible set up? We all know of the bitter hatred between Sammibal and Rat Boy. Anyways, Eugene Jr. and Hunter had probably the worst match ever...and after kicking Eugene Jr. in the gut, where he was injured, Hunter defeated him. Later, at the hospital, Eugene Jr. mysteriously died.

Also a possible set up, Sammibal convinced Kid Rock to play a joke on Rat Boy. Kid Rock did, teasing Rat Boy about Willard, got punked out. Rat Boy proceeded to burn Kid Rock's eye with his doobie and win his Hardcore Championship. He also pissed on him. This all led into Sammibal facing Joe AND Rat Boy in a Handicap Match. During the match, while Joe was tagged in, Rat Boy injected some drugs. Sammibal was dominated pretty much this whole match, but in the end he defeated them both, by pinning a high Rat Boy. He ran off, as things boiled down between Joe and Rat Boy. A mega-fued was about to start...
