Milestines
- 1220 - St. Francis of Assissi visits the Holy Land and
meets with the Sultan of Egypt.
- 1640 - The opening of the first school in Nazareth with
eleven pipils altogether.
- 1849 - Accordind to a Journal entry of Terra Sanra School
in Nazareth, the number of pipils reaches 100, at a time
when the population of Nazareth was about 6000.
- The twentiesth century - With the
advent of public transportation, pupils attend the school
from all over the country. the school, wich has a
boarding section, follows the British Curriculum and
prepares its pupils for the GCE. Due to its excellence,
the school is rewarded the title of a "College".
- 1968 - The school switches to the
Israeli Bagrut Cuurriculum. In spite of the tremendous
difficulties, the school manages to keep a high academic
standard and remains one of the leading education
institutes in the country.
- Present - Equipped with modern
laboratories and a computer center, the school prepares
the students for advanced studies in lanquages, science
and humanities
