Lenten Take-ons - Watch in the Lamp - Instead of (or in addition to) giving something up for Lent, why not take something new on?!? There are opportunities at the church - see Beth Hammond or watch in the March Lamp for a list of items. Contact the church office if you are interested in helping out. Lunch with the Pastor - Friday, February 27th 11:30 am. (PLEASE NOTE: This is a change from the dates posted in the LAMP!) Join our Priest-in-Charge for lunch in the office! Bring a bag lunch and join Beth Sherman for a visit. Love to have you!! Rock-a-thon - Sunday, March 15th - 11:30 am to 1:30 pm - A Fun fundraiser for the Church. Bring your rocker and see who can keep it going the entire time. Get your sponsor sheet in this month's LAMP or in the narthex! Week One Lenten Reflection Question (3/1/09) "We have not loved you with our whole heart, and mind, and strength. We have not loved our neighbors as ourselves. We have not forgiven others, as we have been forgiven." Question: Is there something you are not able to forgive yourself for or you feel God needs to forgive you for? Is there someone you need to forgive? Concrete action: Either make amends with someone; forgive yourself and/or ask God's forgiveness for something youÕve held onto. |
