| To: The St. David's' Community From: Richard Bolig, Webmaster stdavidsonthehill.org A number of parishioners have expressed interest in recognizing St. David's senior members, those whose dedication and contributions of time, talent and treasure over many years have helped make St. David's what it is today. It has been suggested that our website is an excellent place for recognizing such individuals and families. St. David's' website has become a key means of communication for both parishioners and outsiders. There is a group of parishioners who regularly contribute photographs and content to keep the website informative and current. These include Joan Daly, Bob Brown, Lynne Purdy, Grace and Fred Malaby, Lois Bogda, Beth Hammond and others. In addition, there is an open invitation to all parishioners to submit material that portrays life at St. David's. Dedicating space for appreciation of our senior members constitutes grounds for soliciting content from those parishioners with specific knowledge and stories of St. David's history as shaped by these veteran church members. Please join our website team if you have unique knowledge, anecdotes, and photos illustrating our long and developing history. Submissions can be any length. For website purposes, succinct text and colorful photos work best. You may email material to St. David's office (stdavidsonthehill@verizon.net) or to me (rick.pa@verizon.net). Whatever you can contribute will become part of the rich tapestry of the living, evolving community that is St. David's on-the-Hill. |
