| 2008 United Ingathering and Luncheon Saturday, May 10, 2008 10:30 am coffee"an" 11 am Meeting 11:30 am Eucharist Speaker and luncheon to follow at the Cathedral of St. John and Synod hall North Main Street, Providence, RI Dean Krauss and the women of the cathedral will welcome all for coffee ""an" before representatives from throughout the diocese will present their annual parish UTO monies at the Eucharist. Susann Hoder will speak about the situation in the Holy Land. A catered luncheon will be held in Synod Hall following the presentation. Luncheon reservations should be accompanied by a $7.50 check made payable to Episcopal Church Women, Diocese of RI and mailed to Ms. Priscilla McFarland, 15 McCann Street, North Smithfield, RI. The deadline is May 3rd. At St David's you will find some bookmarks in the hymnals that will explain what UTO is about. Next Sunday, April 27, blue boxes and envelopes will be available for my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ to take home with them, pray for what you are thankful for and then bring them back on May 3 which will be UTO Sunday at St. David's. Some things I am thankful for: Rainbows, children. grandchildren, this past week of wonderful weather, spring flowers pushing up through the ground, continued good health, my good friends at pulmonary rehab, St. David's, good friends everywhere, Eucharistic ministers that bring communion to me and other home bound members of St David's What do you have to be thankful for?
