  61. William Bernstein. Begin with “The Four Pillars of Investing”. This is less mathematical than “The Intelligent Asset Allocator.” Both cover the same ground and make a very convincing case for allocating assets between various asset classes and maintaining the initial percentages in each class by periodic rebalancing.
