If you are interested in connecting with some old friends or roommates, there
are several avenues you can explore.
 | A Yahoo Group has been created for Stebbins alumni to share info.

If you join this group you will be able to
 | Read messages from other Stebbins alumni and post your own. |
| View photos, house lists, study room wall quotes (circa 1984) and
other hopefully interesting or entertaining info. |
| View the contact info for other alums. More

| UC Berkeley has created an online alumni community. To join this
community click on https://cal.berkeley.edu/indexDefault.asp
and sign up. Once you are registered you will find an alumni search
function. If you are lucky and if your friend has kept in touch with
the University, you may be able to find out in which city and state they
live. Then you can try www.switchboard.com
to see if you can locate your friend's phone number or USPS address.
If that doesn't work and you are willing to spend some money, you can try www.ussearch.com. |

| The Yahoo Group has a restricted membership. The reason is to
protect uninvited guests from accessing the contact info of Stebbins alumni.
Those who request membership will be asked a couple of simple questions to
verify they know about Stebbins. |
| There are several areas of the Stebbins Hall Yahoo Group that may be of
interest to you. On the left side of the Group home page you will see
several links.
| The "Database" area is where a table exists containing
contact info for alumni. If you like you can add your contact info to
this table (or just
send it to webmaster@stebbinshall.com
and it will be added for you). |
| The "Messages" area is where you can read messages posted by
others and post your own. |
| The "Files" area is where people can share info such as house
lists from various years. |

| To join a Yahoo Group you must provide an email address. And this
will lead to an increase in spam (this is how Yahoo makes money off of this
otherwise free service). I recommend that you join any Yahoo Group using
either an email address with a good spam filter (I use yahoo for my email and
it does a good job of filtering spam) or use an email address other than your
primary one. |
