Mike
Sassman Receives PMC/MSA
November 7, 2000
Mike Sassman, PMC of Steel City Chapter has received the Past Master Councilor/Meritorious Service Award. Mike was
notified of this incredible honor in a letter, November 7, 2000, for Indiana's Director of PMC/MSA and RD, Dad W. D. Blasingame. In DeMolay,
there are honors and there are awards. The key difference, you can't apply
for an honor. The PMC/MSA is the highest ranking and most distinguished award and individual can receive. Ironically, the award is given to Mike,
but without the diligent work of all members and Advisors of Steel City Chapter, Mike could never have achieved this award.
The award encompasses ritual, membership, chapter officers, planned programming and communications. With Indiana DeMolays current emphasis on
PMC/MSA in the C.O.T.Y. competition, this award coupled with Steel City's outstanding membership efforts this year - propels Steel City in the
C.O.T.Y. rankings. CONGRATULATIONS TO MIKE SASSMAN AND STEEL CITY CHAPTER!

I wish to thank my chapter for all their hard work in helping me earn the Past Master Councilor's meritorious service award. Dads Puckett, Simanson, Byers, Sassman and Gardener were vital to the success of my term. I would like to encourage all
DeMolay chapters to support their master councilors. again, thank you to Steel
City Chapter Members and Advisors for your dedication and help during my term.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
Thanks: Mike
