The band was formed in 1996 by singer Tony DeRienzo and bassist Anthony Tangredi. The two founders sought to assemble some of the best and most experienced musicians to bring their music to life. In their search they found guitarist Joey Tangeredi, and drummer Alan Keeping. Once the band was together, writing came easy and they quickly put together a set of exceptional original songs. The music exudes a deep emotional perspective with powerful soulful vocals, a tight, pounding bass and drum section, as well as incredible guitar work reminiscent of the great guitarists of the past. With this unique chemistry Resurrection is destined to shoot to the top of the rock and roll world.
