Cast Bios

Carol Griffin (M'Lynn), originally from Memphis Tenn., recently moved to Ashland. Carol has performed in several Kanawah Players productions. Her credits include Aunt Abby in "Aresenic and Old Lace," Florence Unger in in Neil Simon's "The Odd Couple," and Olivia in Charleston Stage Company's "Twelfth Night." While this is Carol's first production in Huntington, she can be seen daily in her longest running role as wife and mother of two teenage daughters.

Katrina Hatcher (Annelle), is a sophomore at Marshall University. She has been in numerous local productions. Her favorite roles include Ursula in Cabel Midland's production of "Bye, Bye, Birdie!," the Angry Woman in "My Fair Lady" for HOT and the Hysterical Wife in MAG's "The King and I." Annelle is Kat's first major role and she is very excited to ART's second production with these five marvelous women.

Ashley Lipscomb (Shelby), is a senior at Huntington High School. Her credits include Serena Katz in 'Fame" at HHS and "Oliver" for Marshall University. Ashley is a cheerleader and a member of the "Illusions" show choir at HHS. She is thrilled to be part of this extraordinary cast of women. She counts this experience as a blessing.

Linda Reynolds (Truvy), is a native of Huntington and is actively involved in several local theatre company's as producer, actor, singer, and comedienne. Her credits include ART"s premiere production of "Broadway Broads," Aunt Eller in "Oklahoma!," Sister Hubert in "Nunsense" and Dagmar in "Huntington: The Jewel of West Virginia," all for HOT. Linda is the loan manager at the Cabell County School Credit Union. She sends her love and thanks to her "princely" husband, David, and talented son, Nick.

Angie Scarberry (Ouiser), is back on stage after a 13-year sabbatical. Before taking time off to have children, she was actively involved in Community Players, Charleston Light Opera Guild, and Marshall University Theatre. Her last production was in 1987, when she played Anne Reardon in "And Miss Reardon Drinks a Little." Angie is a speech therapist at Catlettsburg Elementary. Her biggest role is that of wife to Ralph and mother to Rachel and Jeremy. She is grateful to have this opportunity after such a long absence.

Libby Stephenson (Clairee) is a Huntington native Marhsall University communications graduate. Her credits include "Kiss Me Kate," "Barefoot in the Park," "Lyistrata," and "Deathtrap," all at MU. Libby is an instructor of publick speaking at Marshall and a public relations consultant She has two wonderful children, Cameron and Ethan.
