HRH Charlie doesn’t like the barmy army now, hardly surprising is it when you think our army owes allegiance to his mum and him eventually. Who does Mr Blair’s barmy army owe its allegiance to?

If you don’t like the message, shoot the messenger

Well that’s the message from Mr Blair. Hasn’t he got himself in a right lather because almost everyone you speak to does not like his Euro-Army, or Euro-force, or should that be Euro-farce?

We don’t like it mate because we’ve seen it and heard it before. Its the old story of solution by  committee and we know the sort of camel you get from committee’s, just look at the hotch potch these government commissions come up with. Then again when your spending someone else’s taxes I suppose it does not matter.

It was only another few weeks ago that another government minister was carping on about how the press editors were not reporting faithfully  on Europe. As usual everyone else is out of step on Europe except Messrs Blair and Co.

will call a committee meeting”, “but Sir they’ve got big
guns”, French, “Do not worry my boy, we are sending
an aircraft carrier with planes on board this time”,
corporal, “but sir we are------”  loud explosion all quiet
on the western front.

Its true, believe me,  we are to have a ‘minister for patriotism’ or is it ‘minister for the flag’. Well we know the colour of their flag its got 12 yellow stars on it, while ours is white with a red cross on and as a United Kingdom our flag symbolises freedom yours is all about red tape and one size fits all. Sorry Tone this is one ‘U’ turn to far!!

Barmy Army or Rabid Reaction Force

Details have emerged of the Rabid, sorry, Rapid Reaction Force head, its Gen. Gustav Hagglund, eh, who you say, well you might. He's a Finn, (nice people the Finns), but he belongs to a neutral country and non NATO at that. So it starts to emerge this euro farce army, what a cock up. Apparently he was chosen to show the 'Union' is inclusive and it reinforces European identity. We always thought Finland was in Scandinavia.

Who would put the fear of God into you if you saw them advancing towards you, Gen. Hagglund's lot or a few Yanks and Brits under the NATO flag. We'll stick with the big boys.
