Okay first off I cannot write NORMAL RPG PLOT apparently because I keep doing weird po-mo shit to it so uh. Take this I guess.

All right, so we've got wolf girl and family, they're all living in the woods. Now, they ain't alone in the woods. We've got all sorts of fun mythological beasties. I'm leaning more towards Scandinavian legends, because I think that's where the first stories of werewolves came from. But yeah, wolf girl lives in a wood with Baba Yaga (probably some type of village elder), Old Man Willow, changelings, ghosts, giants, trolls, man bears, sea serpents...if you need any references, http://www.ststp.com/Archives/Scandinavian/Folklore/ seems pretty solid. But yeah, mostly Scandanavian folk tales.

But she lives with a pretty good family. I dunno, mother, father, throw a baby brother in there if you want. The village operates pretty well too. All the creatures, they "visit" the human village that's in the valley, a pretty big deal for the elders. I want there to be some vagueness about this because helldeath plottwist is coming so yeah, just like, make it seem like they go to village to eat or whatever.

So wolf girl and family are pretty okay (you could insert a quest here where she and her friends go and fight a grendel in the woods or some shit LEAVE ME ALONE I AM WRITING ANGELA LANSBURY FANFICTION) when one day the giants are all found dead, or the trolls, or something. Basically, one by one, kill off the characters of the village, as days pass. Baba Yaga holds a town council and says that a man (the second character) that I will call Fucko is going around killing them all. Basically, she says they are all kind of fucked and everyone is pretty sad about this because they figure Baba Yaga can CAUSE SHIT against him. Some of them start organizing fighting forces and others start running away, you know, your basic city under siege. Father wolf approaches Baba Yaga in secret and pleabargains for his kids; he doesn't want them to die with the rest. So she says that she has an amulet which will "blind" Fucko's eyes to at least one of them, but that father wolf needs to understand the terrible crushing loneliness the remaining child will feel when the rest of the wood people are probably dead. Father dude accepts and gives it to the little girl.

Father and mother and girl decide to flee east, where they heard some of their kind still live, but of course Fucko catches up with them, and the parents are killed, girl is orphaned. You can go two ways here, you can have the girl run out and attack him in vain, or have her stay, cowardly, under the table or some shit, and blame herself for her parents death. One allows for FUN RPG BATTLEZ, but the other gives more character motivation.

So she hikes back to the wood, not knowing what to do now that her family is pretty FUCKED UP BADLEY, and she sees, naturally, everything has been razed to the ground by Fucko. Pretty pissed, she decides to go to the village and fuck their shit up pretty bad. But when she gets there she realizes that no one can really SEE her. The village has grown a lot since her last village, and all the people, while slightly aware of her, don't look at her unless she gets their attention and even then they are like "huh what was that". She isn't INVISIBLE, just unnoticeable. But then she finds a guy named Piper from the village, one that she knew, and he is looking like SHIT pretty much.

Okay here comes the big reveal part; figure out how you want to present this I guess. It could be Piper just tells her, or takes her to some town council the humans are having, but yeah.

Basically, wolf girl, her family, all the wood people, were legends. Not actually alive, but alive because of BELIEF. Basically, the idea behind this is, you believe in something hard enough it becomes real. I've toyed around with that idea before, but yeah. They are not really ALIVE, and Fucko, the guy who killed them, is pretty much a force of nature. He's the spirit of human science. So basically, you have science LITERALLY killing off faith. Wolf people are written off as nothing more than people suffering from lycanthropy. Fairies are delusions brought on by fever. Giants are just really oddly shaped rocks or bears. Baba Yaga is a fable created to scare little children. The woods aren't just being razed, but literally fading from existence. Wolf girl was spared because that amulet she's wearing tied her off from the rest of the fantasy world permanently, so she's no longer living off belief.

Piper is of course the Pied Piper of Hamlin. I'm pretty sure you could have some fun here, introducing characters from mythology all living pretty shitty existences. The only one who would be pretty happy would be Old Man Willow, only he would change his name to the Boogeyman. Basically, the only ones that would live would be the ones children had a vague inkling about. And all these fallen fables and myths are hanging around town, all fucked up rather badly, living off those little bits of worship people throw them.

Now, we're going to need time passage here. It's up to you how you want to do this, you could just have YEARS PASSED and start up in the next plot point. However, I think you and the gamer would have more fun if you have wolf girl spend a few years chasing Fucko around the globe as he kills off legends. You know, stages based on India, China, the Americas, Africa, just go through a few "worlds" where Fucko kills off their legends and the people write them off as something else.

Through out this, wolf girl will meet new characters. A fun gameplay twist is if one of them dies, you can't bring them back. Wolf girl should be the only one that a phoenix down would work on, because once a belief dies, you can't bring it back. But yeah, I think racing around the world, picking up mythological characters that no one believes in, all pretty good! She should also fight fucko once or twice, and lose terribly.

Before the time skip, I guess I should deal with Fucko's story. All during wolf girl's little story, she keeps meeting this old man who gives her things. He's the shop keeper you could say, he sells her Bottles of Belief, Hells Death, etc, all the fun RPG shit, and he also shows up to say a few cryptic words. Fucko's story will begin with this old man, and Fucko, who's looking pretty young right now. We're at the age of the Greeks, Socrates is about to drink some hemlock, and the old man gives Fucko some startling news; apparently, by the year 2020, mankind will break down because they won't be able to choose between faith and science, and in the process end both. Science will have a huge boost in the coming years, but soon everything's going to fall apart.

Fucko and a few pals (all these guys are symbols of science, so if you want to do something cheesey like have the spirit of phyiscs be PHYSICO or some shit knock yourself out. You could do some fun character designs with a few of them too) decide there's one way to prevent this; kill off faith. So Fucko clears out Greece in your first fucko mission. You kill off all the greek myths. FUN.

Sidenote: it also makes sense that Fucko would know from the start that he was a symbol of scientific progress and gets his power from people believing in technology and science and wolf girl would be oblivious; Fucko's faith operates on disclosure and understanding the vague, while wolf girl's is MYSTERY. That being said, advise the gamer to play as wolf girl first so there is still SHOCK VALUE.

So some time passes, he kills off the village mentioned before. Note, the player should NOT be able to see wolf girl, and you could have a fun part where he checks under the table and says "huh, nothing there" or some shit who knows. But yeah, Fucko's gameplay will operate less linearly, more mission based. Wolf girls missions will be tracking him around the globe, but as Fucko, you can choose what culture to go after next. The only problem with this is you need to either figure out level caps or like changing levels so you can legitimately go after a culture without being too weak. Maybe tier them, like the first three available are India China and Scandanavia, and then the next three are America Japan and Russia.

Either way, it's more mission oriented, but once again, TIME WILL SKIP.

It's about 2019. Briefly, we take control of a girl, about 23ish, not wolf girl. This chick is an English major, she's got a type writer and plants and pictures of fairies in her room. She goes out for a while in the city, and we can see things are VERY BAD in the future. This needs to be pointed out to the gamer. Like, headlines blare: SLEEPING DISEASE TAKES ANOTHER MILLION LIVES IN OUTER INDIA...PRIME MINISTER COMMITS SUICIDE...SCHOOL BUS WITH CHILDREN CRASHES WHEN BUS DRIVER FALLS ASLEEP...Basically, the old man's prophecy in Fucko's (and somehow indicated in wolf girl's at one point) has come true. The world is literally breaking down. Nothing is working. Churches are clogged with people praying and no one listening, IBM and Microsoft have carved chips down as far as they can and are all desperately looking for the next innovation, which isn't coming. You can have fun little injokes; FFX-X, The Tenth Game in the Hit FFX series on a game shelf. Scientific innovation is dying off, and faith is on its last legs, and people are actually falling asleep and not waking up...people are BORED WITH LIFE, and dying.

This girl should be different however. She should be colorful compared to everyone else's outfits, sing to herself, basically be a kind of flower child. See, this girl is the last person on earth with faith, true faith, in the old superstitions. She believes in fairies and dryads and that kind of shit, even though she knows it's kind of silly. And she's also writing the GREAT AMERICAN NOVEL, or so she tells herself. She hasn't even started, but part of her has belief in it. So it's natural that here in NEW YORK CITY or whatever that wolf girl and the last remnants of her army decide to have one last attack against science. The old faith versus the new. Wolf girl's been living in the sewers, because that's where all the urban myths have been hanging out. There's the old lady who microwaved her cat, there's the serial killer with the hook, there's the boy who ate pop rocks and drank soda all at once. The giant alligators in the sewers, the cell phone tumors, even Bat Boy from weekly world news. And they're all dying. Wolf girl is the only one that's still kind of healthy, and she's mustering them into an army for the boss fight.

Now, Fucko. The old man's prediction is coming true. Science has faltered and failed. There's no such thing as innovation anymore. Fucko's growing desperate; he knows the last bits of faith are coming from under the city, and that one wolf girl survived the scandinavian holocaust. So he and the forces of science, all rather rag tag now, decide on one last boss fight.

Fucko's safe place by the way, is underneath this one guy's apartment. In my head this dude is me so yeah. Basically, we have this guy, 20-something, convinced that he is going to create the next innovation in PC shit. He's going to be the next fucking Bill Gates. Everyone else in the office is busy making current shit a little faster, this guy thinks he's on the verge of new science in general. He doesn't even have a clue where to go, but he's sure of it.

So yeah, can you tell where this is going? Fucko and wolf girl meet, their armies collide, it's old faith versus new faith, fantasy versus science, religion versus reality. And then FADE TO WHITE, and hey presto, it's the old man again. He tells them that he's not god (god would fall under wolf girl's territory) but part of a race of beings who had always been curious as to what would eventually win out if it came to a one to one fight. People's faith or their science? Both are different kinds of belief. Which is stronger? So he's orchestrated this whole thing, and put mankind on the scale, and it's up to wolf girl, the last symbol of old belief, and fucko, the last symbol of progress, to duke it out and see which will take over mankind's further progress.

Naturally, the ending will change depending on who wins. If Wolf girl does, she wins, and suddenly fades away. Girl in apartment suddenly gets a spark of inspiration and starts typing. A few years later, her book is getting published everywhere. Sleeping sickness begins to fade away, and people start reading the book instead. And then someone paints something. And someone else sculpts something. Art returns to the dying culture. Mankind regains faith in the supernatural, churches flourish, era of peace is ushered in.

But at the end of the game, we see programmer guy, all alone in his apartment, and he's looking at his computer, says something like "nothing....nothing there..." and picks up a bottle of jack daniels and drinks himself into JUSTIN TRAUB state.

Now, if Fucko wins, same kind of ending, he fades away. We go to programmer guy, who we see is keyjacking like a motherfucker. He creates this entirely new science of embedding chips on molecules, creating computers the size of atoms, and all of mankind gets plugged into a new cyberculture. Advancements in science cure cancer and aids, lifetimes get extended to nearly a century, the triple replaces the couple, and man takes to the stars.

But once again, at the end of the game, we see fairy girl, slowly packing up all her things. She takes a look at the typewriter, and then boxes it up.

PRETTY SOMBER SHIT, right? Well that is because this is videogame world, so we will have a secret ending. How it's accessed is up to you. Maybe you have to beat the game with the two characters and you get something when you do, a yin and yang. Maybe during your quest if you complete sidequests for both you get something.

Regardless, if the player does this specific something, you get a THIRD option available to you at the boss fight. Both wolf girl and fucko join forces and decide the world can live at odds with faith and science, because only through conflict man can evolve blah blah, old dude gets pissed and he becomes your final boss. But this time, you win, and both of them come into the world. And we pan above the earth and we see lots of lights and shit as the credits roll, and an occasional scene of happiness comes across, like someone painting something, or an old guy getting cured of cancer, and the moral of the story is basically shit turns out okay, and in order to be a truly fulfilled people we have to strike a balance between the two.

And of course at the very end, right at the THE END screen, (I'd rather not SEE this scene but have it written out, a very MGS thing to do I guess!), we hear "Oh shit, I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to!" and hey it's programmer guy, "oh, it's okay, I'm sorry, I should have watched where I was going," and it's fairy girl, and then programmer guy starts stammering and says something like I HATE TO BE ABRUPT AND SHIT BUT I HEARD YOU AT THE POETRY SLAM LAST WEEK AND WELL and asks fairy girl out who laughs a little and says yes, programmer guy is pretty elated, and it is a happy ending for all.
