Dearest Franz,
Thanks very much for your very usual philosophic yet poetic letter.
Comments:
It is inconceivable to what extent we are all transgressing to an
eternal abyss, without even recognizing the downward spiral.
Unfortunately to a majority out there, they are still conned by the same
old shit "feel good" capitalist ideology of deceit that tomorrow will be
better. This cunning ploy as adopted by the ruling class has always proven
to be unfortunately successful in postponing mass action.
For this reason, our emancipating metamorphosis is not only to think and understand but to rebel and promulgate the alternatives through conscientization and education, something which you have always done. Admittedly, as you already know, this is a monstrous task that could only be realized with tact, patience and appreciation that we are all victims of capitalist ideology. In order to get out of our present cesspool of hopelessness and despair, we need first to focus on the operation and function of the human mind, thereafter, to taylor the means towards emancipation. I think too much attention is focused on politics, economics, and history, etc.; and not much is done to study the human as "being." I mean, from their psychological state.
Uncle Sam: Quo Vadis ?
Sadly, as long as there is artificially created scarcity, hunger, poverty and despair, there will always be a competition for survival by all means and ends. And, as is quite evident in the United States where the ruling class apparently are becoming very uneasy about their personal security (many of the rich ones are now buying properties in Europe to get away from violence, drugs, etc.) Today, I saw a television report which clearly enunciated the state of affairs in American cities to the effect that the suburbs, perhaps previously the last bastions of hope for the rich, are now quietly being taken over by the pangs of social unrest that are quite evident in poorer neighbourhoods. Alarms are now raised over and over as to where the mighty Uncle Sam will be in five to ten years time.
We Are All Consumed !
The speed of social disintegration is not only evident in Venezuela but throughout the world. It's the age of global disintegration and extermination of one class over another. If it's not the environment, it's the Mendozas or Cisneros, or the Calderas; or maybe the next door neighbour, or in the workplace, maybe in the very privacy of your home, or your own doctor or the pharmaceutical product that you are supposed to take to save your live. Whatever you do or where ever you choose to go the "hell hole" is already well dug and waiting for all of us. Maybe we should all just have a big laugh and enjoy life to the fullest and forget the cesspit that we are living in.
If you think it is bad there, come here to Canada and witness the madness that is taking place everyday. Capitalism has gone "Loco, Loco," nothing can save it from eternal rot. As Martin Carter once said, "We are all consumed."
Pandemonium
On another note, the international media has been feeding very positive
news on the Venezuelan economy. They say it is
experiencing a "boom." On the doctor's strike I read about it in
the El Nacional - also of a prison riot. Unfortunately, it would
seem that the "pandemonious" state of affairs in Venezuela is sill in the
"bandage" phase (smile); and, as you know, the masses would do very little
to change their conditions. On the lighter side, lets smile and
saludar
each other with lots of joy and love. After all, we have the 'fastfood'
chain of the Internet to say our grace.
Love to you all from me...
Khalid.
P.S. Your articles are a little bit difficult to read but (also
understandable); however, a number of key words are missing.
