HUMAN BEING XXIII
(Our "Labour" Concept)
Theoretical Prologue
Hello Khalid!
Now, let us move away from the corrupt, profit-making slime of the skunklike patrian gutters, let us try to ascend towards the transcendental sublime of our previously mentioned excellent, majestic Himalayan mountain tops. Hence, Our Majesty, Giddy Up!
Let us leave the grief of job-seeking behind; let us leave the virtual-real tears of a Maundy Thursday to the Vatican crocodiles. In short, let us get into our scientific a n d philosophic element, into our levels, degrees and mensions of Polilogics. Because of the complexity of our theoretic illustrations, we will make this lecture short and sweet.
Again: The Patria, Das Vaterland, The Fatherland
To take off:
Our concept of the Patria has very little to do with the concept of "patriarchy", which Engels or the modern feminists are using; also it has nothing in common with the "Patria" (Vaterland), which Marx and Engels utilized in the Communist Manifesto, when they stated that "the workers have no fatherland"; it is not even identical to the "Patria" of Che or Castro. Our concept includes these varieties, but it goes beyond these political and ideological terms.
To cruise:
Our Concept of Labour, as explained in previous lectures, does not coincide with any general everyday definition of Labour. Although it contains all possible scientific-philosophic connotations known to us, we define Labour as being the essential patrian Non-Relation, as and between maltreated Nature and perverted Society. Our Relation, our Bezug, our " a n d " which relates Nature a n d Society, we call Emancipation. Hence, Labour and Emancipation have specific connotations within our philosophic "vocabulary".
These conceptions go far beyond their "normal" formal-logical or dialectical delimitations; they encompass some of our Diagories: Essence a n d Existence, Nature a n d Society, Praxis a n d Theory, Act a n d Thought; Object a n d Subject, etc. And, in this specific case, in our Science a n d Philosophy, Labour refers to a definite "level" of "and ".
To land:
Patria and History!
The Non-Relation, the Nicht-Bezug, the and between our Precept (Patria) and our Transcept (History) gives us the clue to the insidious, enigmatic labour process. This special Bezug: Patria and History, enables us to identify the Bezugsradius, the Circumference of the labour process.
Of course, we also need our methodic Triagories, our logical tools, like Rest a n d Motion AND Bezug, Intence a n d Extence AND Transcendence, Affirmation a n d Negation AND Superation, etc., to aid us in our explanation. What makes the problem all so tricky, is that we are entering the trilogical arena, i.e., we are travelling in the domain of Nothing, Transcendence, Superation and Transcept. Partially we even have to surpass this Trimension. Logically, already we have to postulate not only Cosmos, Einai, Nothing, but also a fourth unknown element, in other words, to reason a "quartet", to achieve quadrilogical status. But this will come "later".
Meanwhile, so that you can follow, let us recall our Triagory: Nature
(N) a n d Society (S) AND History (H), simply
written as:
N a n d S AND H.
Among other things, and referring to our very special problem, Labour, we limit ourselves to the diagoric or dialogical sphere of this triagoric mension; that is, we state that the internal "contradiction", the intensive Bezug, the Motion of History, as we understand these terms, is composed of Nature a n d Society.
Later we will try to show that within the Bezug-Degree, "a n d " , we can identify the "Labour process", the essence of the Patria. Also, we will try to explain Labour as the Bezug-Degree of maltreated Nature and perverted Society, within the framework of our Diagory Nature a n d Society, as our intensive "Contradiction" (Affirmation a n d Negation) of History as such.
There is something very special to note: The Triagory
"N a n d S AND H"
is not linear; it contains simple, complex and vague elements and processes; among other things, it contains the intensive Bezug of History, that is, "Nature a n d Society". We will identify this intensive "contradiction" and within its limitations, we will try to explain the Patria, its process "Labour", and its complex essence: economic exploitation, political domination, social discrimination and dehistorization ("Human Alienation").
However, we want you to brood over the above flowing focal "point", to breed some rational brain waves, to be fit for the next theoretical bomb-shell.
This is all for tonight.
Labour continues next "time"!
Love,
Franz.
