Moving to JENNINGS PLACE in Cleveland.

When they say . . . "third time is CHARM", I hope it's true because this is your 3rd move & hopefully, the LAST.

I apologize:
It pains me to do this, MOM, but living conditions at the Ranch have changed & I have decided to move back to the Cleveland area while I am still physically & mentally able to do so. As soon as I am settled; I will come to get you & help you settle into your new surroundings. Sorry.

Addendum: Just received word that Wandering Oaks is closing on March 1st. so apparently your moving would have been necessary after all.

Goodbye Florida; Hello Cleveland !

Moving Day arrives!
I flew down to Florida on January 30th & we flew back to Cleveland the next day. I wasn't sure how you would tolerate the car ride to the airport or the flight itself considering the fact that you have not been out of the house in over a year. I expected the worst & got the best! You did beautifully. Thanks MOM !

Alzheimers has a way of consuming your entire life. Reach out....find out all you can.....use that information to help yourself.....& then share it with others. My gift to other caregivers is a poem that has sustained me thru some discouraging times! Hopefully, it will help others as much as it has helped me. (Print it! Cut it out! Hang it on the mirror in the bathroom!)
