Master Stenzel has been a major contributor to the Martial Arts since getting his black belt in 1979. Master Stenzel went on to win his first black belt championship in 1984 in Kumite(fighting). He has trained through the techniques of 5th degree black belt in the art of Hapkido by the 10th degree black belt Grandmaster Ji Han Jae. Master Stenzel is an avid practitioner of Kung Fu and several other martial arts but still trains and teaches in his first love - Tae Kwon Do.

He has dedicated his whole life to the promotion and teaching of martial arts in the Minneapolis metro area. Master Stenzel believes in teaching the Joy of Discipline. He trains his students in both traditional and modern forms of Tae Kwon Do which he believes equips them with a better understanding of this Martial Art. Master Stenzel has taught over 20,000 students since 1979. Many of his students have become National, International, and World Champions. All Ages are welcome in his dojang.
