This is the helicopter which I learned most of my aerobatics on. Introduced in the
late 80's by Japanese model giant Kyosho, it posses some
innovative and radical designs which sets it apart from all other helicopters at the time. The Concept 30SRX is the 7th revision since the original Concept 30DX. And this does not even include other Concept models such as Concept 60, 10, and EP. Many of the designs
are still in use now, as Kyosho introduces the new Concept 46VR.
This Concept is still my most frequently flied bird due to its superior crash resistant ABS side frames, low repair cost, and ease of maintance. I try all the new (well new to me) manuvers with it first before getting a heart attack trying them with the 60 size helis. Recently I have fitted a CSM Heading Lock Piezo gyro into the Concept along with a JR2700G super servo in an attempt to better my flying skills. So far I am very pleased with the result.
