Luccia's guniea pig. Pip can evolve into a stronger form later in the game if used often enough.
Recruitment
Open Pip's cage when you are in Luccia's lab in Viper Manor. You will find Pip in Fargo's ghost ship. Chase Pip and talk to him.
Pip's six forms
Normal form: The form Pip starts with when he joins your party.

Angel form: Pip grows small wings on he's back.
Devil form: Small horns grow on Pip's head.

Angel form 2: Bigger wings. Pip can now fly higher and more stable.
Normal form 2: Pip grows both wings and horns.
Devil form 2: Bigger horns grow on Pip's head. Pip's color changes darker.
How the evolve system works
Pip can change his innate color as he evolves. The new innate color Pip will receive will be based on the elements Pip uses as well as the elements allocated to Pip.

If Pip's innate color changes into Red, Black or Green Pip will turn into a devil form. If the innate color changed into one of the other three Pip will transform into an angel form. Pip can evolve twice in the game. If however Pip changes his innate into one of Red, Black or Green and then transforms into the other three innate colors Pip will transform into the Normal 2 form.

Pip's next transformation can also be decided by the elements other characters use. It does not always have to be the elements Pip use.
Advantages of different forms
Pip's angel forms seem to be more effective as a magic user while Pip's devil forms seem to be much better fighter.

Pip's Lv.5 tech skill Soothe is most effective under Pip's angel forms.
