A definitive guide of Places he's been, People he's met and Things he's seen (as well as stuff he only heard) by everyone's favourite Pecari

A

Adam W — Is a kid in Pecari in the grade below me. He's one of Jake's friends from back where he lives when he's not at Sonora. He signed up for the Quidditch team in second year (his first) but that year it got cancelled because of the weather. He didn't sign up this year, but I'm not entirely sure why. Someone said something about... health issues... I think... maybe.

Aladren — Aladren is where the smart people like Zack and Ty and Zoey (and for some reason Pink Girl) are. I don't know where their common room is though. We're not supposed to go into other common rooms anyhow.

Alumni — There was a feast in the middle of second year - right before the Christmas holidays - and all the Alumni were invited. Some of them were nice - Ash and Sorrel's Mom was there, but there was also a nasty man who hit my new friend Gwennie and a lady in a wheelchair who kept on bossing Cackling Dude about.

Amy "the fox" Fox — The new Coach. Apparently she was a professional player - a Beater - but had to stop playing because of... I know this... I know I know this. I cornered that fat little kid Geoff after our game and he told me. Oh yeah, she was on the Florida Heliopaths and there was something about her hitting a bludger into the stands. If I'd known we had a hot new coach (the last one had been an older lady with a limp) I'd totally have signed up for flying lessons again last year.

Anne — Captain of the Aladren Quidditch team, plays in the position of Chaser.

Arixios — I think he's in Crotalus. He eats oatmeal for breakfast, is friends with TJ, and like TJ doesn't really talk or mix with the rest of us much.

Art — Is a Clabbert who lives out in the Labyrinth Gardens and was in our third year Care of Magical Creatures lesson. He is very shy, and it's very unlikely that we'd ever find him, which is sad as I'd like to see what happens when you poke that thing on his forehead. Although I'm not supposed to do that anyhow.

Ash — Ash is my roommate. He's been stuck with a girl's name (although he really doesn't like it when I tell him that) and is in Pecari like me. He and his sister, Sorrel, do this thing called Broom Jousting. They're heaps fun and they fight like cats and dogs. He plays Beater which means that he gets this bat and gets to hit a ball at people, and together they are now the captains for our house team. He also helped me to keep Rover a secret for almost half of second year. We had an argument last year, and weren't speaking at all, but that's over now, and we're back to being good mates. Oh, and he really won't like me putting this here, but he's got some (not many, but some) pretty sweet moves on the dance floor. I wonder where he learned that dip he used on Liz.

Asher — Gung ho (according to what I've heard) Crotalus sister of Mike.

Astronomy — Astronomy is the class taught by Dione. It's all about planets and stars and stuff. I'm not sure what it's got to do with magic.

B

Beater — A position in the game of Quidditch. Ash and Sorrel really love playing this position as their actual job is to hit one of the two balls called Bludgers at the other players.

BellaJake's sister. She's in Aladren and plays Beater for their team.

Ben — A Chaser on the Aladren team. He has a twin sister who is on the Teppenpaw team.

Blizzard — A blizzard came after Christmas in second year. It got really, really cold. The waterfalls in the Cascade Hall were frozen over, and there was stacks of snow - so much we Pecari couldn't get into our common room by the entrance and I think we got Connell annoyed by constantly trekking through her office. It was kind of a downer though, being snowed in at school. You don't get snow days at boarding schools.

Bones — Bones was Zack's Broom. He's a bit slow, which is why Zack called him that I think, and also, come to think of it, why Zack must have replaced him.

Books — There are heaps of these in the Library, and maybe in Aladren as well, but I don't know for sure. Some of the teachers (they all seem to want to be called 'Professor' here) want you to read whole chapters from them for classes.

Briony — I'm pretty sure I heard that she's the old Dragon's daughter. Don't think we've crossed paths though. I'm sure I'd have remembered.

Broom Jousting — This is something that the Craven twins Ash and Sorrel do. Sorrel promised to show me, but never seems to have gotten around to doing that. Apparently - so I've been told - it's not the same as 'Shunt Bumps', whatever that is. Two years I've been waiting now... wait, no. It's three years now.

Brooms — At Sonora we get to fly on brooms. It's really cool because you get to go really high and it's kinda like riding a motorbike, except that it isn't as loud and you don't have to mostly stay on the ground. I named my broom Fido and my friend Zack called his Bones when we were ickle firsties. He has a new broom now, called Enterprise. I don't think anyone else named their brooms, but I don't know why.

C

Cackling Dude — Is the coolest guy ever. He's really old and he looks after the grounds at the school and he has these elf people who do anything he tells them to. I think his real name is Simon or something. Second year he was a bit busy with all the problems that kept cropping up with the weather. Also, there's a kid in Pecari now, Saul, who I heard is his cousin.

Care of Magical Creatures — Is a class we have here. Professor Couldyouski showed us Rover in our first class before the dust-storm hit in second year, and third year we got to see even stranger creatures, like Art. I heard the second years got Flobberworms though, which sounds a bit boring according to what they had to say about it. Firsties got Puffskeins.

Cascade Hall — Is where we get food. It's full of all these waterfalls and it's really cool because we're in the middle of a desert. They also have the start and end of year feasts there. Second year it was even cooler than before because the waterfalls froze during the Christmas holidays. They thawed out when the weather problems came to their last stage.

Catherine Raines — A Crotalus in the grade below me. I sat next to her in Transfig in third year (because she sat next to my green desk, proof that she has good taste), and she's pretty good looking, for a kid. Dunno why she'd want to hide behind her hair.

Cats — There is a grey cat in the Library. He is not very friendly and his name is Oscar. Kneazles aren't cats, despite looking like them.

Charms — Is another class. It's taught by the Grump (he was Acting Headmaster for half of second and half of third years, so I don't think I'm supposed to call him Grump anymore.. although I think he still needs cheering up) but I think that he might loosen up once I can get him to learn what fun is. This is, however taking some time. We get to do stuff with our wands there, like cong um... Conjuring water and, more boringly, cleaning charms. Hopefully it'll be more interesting in the next year.

Chaser — Is a position in the game of Quidditch. These people use the Quaffle to score goals worth ten points.

Chris — The Aladren team's Keeper. I don't know much else about him.

Chrissy — Girl in my grade from Crotalus. She's good friends with Tal, and a Chaser on her house Quidditch team.

ClabbertArt is one of these frogkey things. They have big knob things that Couldyouski calls 'pustules' in the middle of their foreheads and are shy and I'm not allowed to poke them.

Coach — Teaches us about flying and Quidditch. In times past we have had Coach Cooper (Someone told me she has a kid who was at the school over the Christmas holidays in first year, but I wasn't here then because I went home to get my motorbike from Alan so didn't get to see. It's red and loud and really, really cool, but it's a bit wreaked now. I had this massive crash during the holidays when I was to make this awesome jump), then Coach Feran (who came in second year and had a limp, but Quidditch was cancelled anyhow 'cause of the weather and then she just left) and now we've got Coach Fox, who is a fox.

Connell — Professor who teaches Potions and is the Pecari Head of House. She's a bit strange, and Ash and Sorrel really don't like her for some reason. She got really annoyed at us having to walk through her office all the time last year because we couldn't use the usual Pecari entrance that I'm not going to tell you about.

Conner — Is in the grade below me. He seems to hang out with Gwennie alot, despite him being Muggleborn and her being from a nasty Pureblood family. He signed up for Quidditch (with a little help) before it got cancelled in second year, but seems to have gone quiet in third year.

Corridors — I like the Corridors. You run at the girl's corridor, and if you are a guy you end up falling into the middle of the common room. I call this the Corridor Ride, and it's one of my favourite things to do when I'm in the common room. Liz gave it a go, and it happened to her too, but I'm not sure that is normal. Sorrel spent a lot of time in first year moaning about wanting to get into the boys side (she said she wanted to put something in Ash's bed)... and then in second year she managed it. I haven't decided what this really means yet though.

Couldyouski — Professor Couldyouski is the Aladren Head of House and teaches Care of Magical Creatures. I call her 'Profski' sometimes for short, and a lot of the others call her 'Professor K'. She's kinda cool... but she took Rover away from me.

Crotalus — Is where people from the real important magical backgrounds seem to go. At least that's what they say. There was one of the Alumni who came to the Alumni event in second year who was apparently a Crotali when he was here was pretty nasty to his daughter, Gwennie... I hope that's not what they're really about.

CrupRover is a crup. They look like dogs, and they act like dogs, but they aren't dogs. Everyone needs to remember that. And they don't have tails.

D

Dalila — A Chaser on the Teppenpaw house team. I think she had someone come to the Alumni thing in second year too.

Defence Against the Dark Arts — Another class they teach here. It was taught by Zephyrflame who gave us the warning about the Knife-Wielding Maniac in first year. He disappeared last year after the Mud-storm and the Dragon started there in third year. In this class we learn how to cast spells that make people do things like dropping their wands and other spells like shields.

Dillon — I think he's trying to move off the Teppenpaw Quidditch team. Don't quote me on it though, just speculating, because why else would he have agreed to sharing his position with a firstie when he was a third year? His twin sister is a Chaser on the Aladren team.

Dione — Is the Astronomy Professor and the Crotalus Head of House. Some of the others think she might be a vampire, but I don't think the Grump would have let Marnett hire her if she was.

Doc — was the last guy in the Infirmary. He had this other name, but it was long and weird. He could heal people real good, except you couldn't go testing the healed things straight away by getting up and jumping because they need a bit of time to work properly. Or something like that. I think had a fixation on Plant Dude's girlfriend, but as he's gone now, it doesn't really matter anymore.

Doc, The New — Some guy called Wolfe. He sounds foreign, but I haven't really had much to do with him. Yet. Maybe when I have a nasty accident we can get to know each other and maybe he'll have some of that cool pain medicine that Doc gave Zack in second year, but wouldn't let me try. And maybe then I can come with something other that 'the new doc' to call him.

Dragon, The — This guy knows how to make an entrance, and he knows how to use flowing robes to the coolest effect. It's a pity he's such a stick-in-the-mud. Seriously, he's like Jeeves with dress-sense. Oh and he teaches Defence Against the Dark Arts instead of Transfig, that's another difference.

Dust-storm — There was a dust-storm at Sonora during Care of Magical Creatures. It was really windy, and it stung, and Zack got hurt so I had to help him to the entrance of the school, and Ash and Sorrel got stuck out in there and had to be rescued by Couldyouski and the Grump. It ruined the no girls allowed fort the first time. It was part of the crazy weather in second year.

E

Eddy — A Pecari in Saul's year. He's a Chaser on the Quidditch team (but wanted to be Seeker) and talks funny.

Enterprise — The broom Zack chose to replace Bones. He's a lot faster, and Zack caught the snitch in the Aladren versus Teppenpaw game when he was riding him.

F

Fido — Is my broom. He's a really good boy 'cause be comes when I whistle and he stays when I tell him to (mostly) and I like him. Alan (my big brother) has helped me out over the last few holidays with this idea I've had that I'm hoping to put into operation this year.

Flobberworms — Are boring. The second years told me so.

Flood — There was a flood at the end of the blizzard in second year. It's a good thing that Cackling Dude and his minions the elves were there to stop it getting at us.

Florida Heliopaths — The Quidditch team that the Foxy Coach played Beater for before she got chucked out of the league or whatever.

Fox(y) — See Amy "the foxy" Fox.

G

Günter — Is an Aladren and kinda hard to miss because he's taller than I am, despite being two grades lower.

Geoffrey L — Another Aladren. He's a Beater on their Quidditch team, and I'm pretty sure he either knows or is related to Anne.

Geoffrey SChaser on the Crotalus Quidditch team. He got a goal past me in their game versus Pecari, and he seems to know a lot about the game. He's also a fan of the foxy Quidditch Coach, but because of her being a professional Quidditch player rather than for any other reason.

Ginge — Muggleborn two grades below me. The girl had a supply of coke and twinkies for the party I threw at the end of the year, which makes her a hero in my eyes. Oh, and she's the Pecari team's Seeker.

Grump, The — Professor Bulla is the Charms teacher and the Deputy Headmaster and the Teppenpaw Head of House. I heard that he writes Charm text books (I know, boring huh) and he won't hear a word against Marnett. And one of the Teppenpaws let it slip that he can dance. For part of second and third year he was the Acting Headmaster while Marnett wasn't around.

Gwennie — Is in the year below mine, and a member of Crotalus house. Her Dad is a bit off - he hit her at the Alumni thing. I helped her out and took her to Charms. She's got a sister in Pecari now, but her sister seems a bit more standoffish. I prefer Gwennie.

H

Hall of Plants — Is where Plant dude and his girlfriend live with lots and lots of other plants now that he and Marnett are back. It's near the Cascade Hall and apparently is where you go if you want to see Marnett. It died back a bit during the weather problems but it's looking back to normal now.

I

Infirmary — Is where the new Doc works. It smells kind of like a hospital and there are beds and curtains and a polished floor and odd looking potions in bottles and other things. It got pretty badly smashed up in the mud-storm in second year, but it's orderly again now.

J

Jake — Is in Teppenpaw. I think he is part Spanish or something. He plays Quidditch and was the captain for the blue side in our game at the end of first year. He's the Teppenpaw Quidditch Captain these days.

Jeeves — Would probably have preferred to have be known as Professor Reiner. Weird name, huh. And even weirder, I heard that his first name is 'Bastian'! Anyhow, he taught Transfiguration and I think he was friends with the Grump because they're both a bit boring, although at least the Grump doesn't wear tweed. He made me write meanings in cursive, which was a bit mean because I don't even know any magical language yet. I'm actually starting to suspect that there isn't a separate magical language now too, which makes me wonder what cursive really is. And he didn't like green. I know because he got rid of most of my cool green ink. He disappeared at the same time as Zephyrflame. I guess he didn't like the weather. He probably wouldn't be in this now he's gone, except that my green desk is cool and needs to be mentioned in this.

Jen ZIs a cono Has good taste. She ate the oatmeal that I fixed for her so that it wouldn't be all bland and boring. She took Liz to England with her for the Christmas holidays last year, and then I heard she spent this summer with Liz. She's Captain of the Crotalus Quidditch team but seems to have trouble with recruiting. I like that she trusted me enough to tell me about her problems last year.

Jenna H — I heard that one of the little elf guys attacked her in the Library, but I reckon they were making it up as they're nice little guys. Still, it might explain why she's gone so quiet of late. Hiding in her room...

K

KaylieTeppenpaw girl in my year. She's her house Quidditch team's Seeker.

Keeper — Is a position in Quidditch. The best position, clearly, because it's the one that I play. What Keepers do is guard the goals to prevent the Chasers from scoring. It's loads of fun.

Kneazles — There was one of these in Care of Magical Creatures in first year (and I heard that the firsties this year had one too). The professor was telling us about them. They make good hats, but only for short periods. They are not cats just like crups are not dogs.

Knife-wielding ManiacZephyrflame told us about him. Apparently he is somewhere in the school, just waiting to jump out at someone. I went on a hunt for him in first year, but all I found was Plant Dude and Doc.

L

Labyrinth Gardens — Is where Cackling Dude and his army are most likely to be found, and is also where Spy Guy communicates with remote Russian Satellites by sitting on Statues. Although that's still just a theory - I'm not sure that they can see through the barrier that is supposed to be around the school. There are paths and plants and statues and fountains and the Grump hung around there a lot before the weather got bad and it was where the short-lived no girls allowed fort was built, destroyed, rebuilt, destroyed again and then left. Lately, it seems, Ash and Sorrel have taken to having jogs around in it.

Laura — I think I met her at the feast in second year. Haven't seen her around much since.

LexieBeater on the Teppenpaw team. She's got a twin brother on the Aladren team.

Lila GBeater on the Crotalus house team.

LilsCrotalus team Chaser. She's in my year but wasn't there for the first year because... I don't know really. She transferred from somewhere else.

Liz — Is another Pecari. Liz has cold blue eyes and wears Italian boots and has been a bit wavering in how she treats others. She was friendly at the beginning of first year but was not so friendly by the end. She was speaking to me again in second year, but I don't know if she rides the corridors anymore. She is a Chaser, as she told me way back when I first met her, and now that I think about it, her eyes... are kinda... I like them, they're not so cold these days. Oh, and I nearly forgot. Ash said something about dancing being her area of expertise at the party last year. It seems that Ash isn't exactly lacking there either.

M

Marlowe — The latest Transfig Professor. As things stand, she's probably going to disappear around midterm and be replaced. That's the pattern so far anyhow. You never know though... she might be the one to break it. She dresses better than boring old Jeeves anyway.

Marnett — Is the Headmistress. Was the Headmistress. Is the Headmistress again. She is really, really old. I only ever really saw her at the feasts, but the older students seem to like her, even if they say she is a scatterbrain. She had to go away just after Christmas in second year and left the Grump in charge, but she's back with Plant Dude in tow. I wonder what this means is going to happen this year? Oh and while Im thinking about it Zack seems to think that Marnett being gone was because she was kidnapped by aliens. Zack is starting to get weird.

Mike — Kid in Pecari. He doesn't seem to do much except make paper airplanes. He has an older sister in Crotalus.

MorgainePecari and apparently little Gwennie's little sister.

Mud-storm — The mud-storm happened after the dust-storm and before the blizzard. There was thunder, lightning, and one heck of a lot of mud. And it trashed heaps of the school - particularly the infirmary. Good thing they've got the weather back under control again these days.

Muggle Studies — A new class at school. You have to be at least in second year to attend though.

N

No Girls Allowed Fort — It started out so well. I found a cool secret place near this stream at the beginning of second year and me, Sorrel, Ash, and Zack built the fort there. But then the weather came and ruined everything. After the dust-storm it got mysteriously rebuilt, but after the mud-storm, the blizzard and the flood it was a lost cause.

O

Oscar — The Library guard cat. He's grey. Um. He's not a kneazle. Um. He belongs to Spy guy, but being a cat he probably thinks it's the other way around.

P

Pecari — The best of houses. I'm in Pecari, and so I know how to get into the common room, but I'm not telling you 'cause we're not supposed to. We won the House Point competition first year because all the teachers liked us and gave us points. I dunno who won second year as things got a bit confusing towards the end. Might have been Crotalus. We won again this year (and if we didn't, we damn well should have!).

Pepper — Is sharing the position of Keeper with Dillon on the Teppenpaw team. She's got a weird name, but there's something strangely familiar about it. Have I heard it somewhere before?

Pink Girl — Is this girl from Aladren. OOC: She really likes pink, and threatening people with pink, and doing unspeakably sadistic things to innocent frogs and poor dogs. She is the Anti-Boy* and despite going quiet for a long time I've noticed her on the OOC again. Oh, and this entry is almost entirely about what she's like on the OOC because there she is my deadly enemy. BIC:

Plant Dude — Lives in the Hall of Plants with his girlfriend. He is kinda like one of those plants that eat flies - I forget what they're called - only he is as big as I am, and he likes to trip people up and he can talk. He left when Marnett left and came back when she did. He talks like he's from New York or something. I wonder if he is.

Potions — Is taught by Professor Connell, my head of house. In Potions, we learn how to mix all sorts of cool and strange things and get these... these... Potions! Connell seems to think that normal potions are boring though, and has ideas about Charms that would make the Grump blow a gasket.

Prairie Elves — Are little people who follow Cackling Dude around and call him 'Master' and 'Sir'. And they cook the food. They do a lot of stuff actually. Jenna H said that there was a nasty one, but she seems to have disappeared, and I've never seen an elf like that.

Princess — Is another girl in Pecari. I call her Princess even though her name is Mia because that's what my friend Sorrel calls her. Princess apparently likes to wear nailpolish and the colour pink, but I haven't got anything against her. Plus, I think she's Muggleborn like me. She's short, and has nice brown eyes.

Profski — See Couldyouski.

Puffskien — Fuzzy critters that the first years got to study this year.

Q

Quidditch — Is the sport that they obsess over, here in the Magical World. Well, that and another one they've mentioned called 'Quadpot' or something like that. It involves six hoops - three at each end - and four balls and fourteen players on Brooms. It's a pretty cool sport, even though you don't get to do any running around. There is a house competition - Sorrel and Ash are Pecari's Captains, Jake is Teppenpaw's, a chick called Anne is Aladren's and Jen Z is Crotalus's.

R

Red Fox — Is spy guy's contact. I stumbled across the information that he existed accidentally in first year when I was pretending to be a spy in the Library. Spy guy is a spy. I mean, he even had this mysterious guy visit him in second year. I wasn't there, but I heard about it. I wonder if he was Red Fox, and they were taking advantage of my absence, because they knew I wouldn't be there to catch them.

Rob — A Chaser on the Teppenpaw house team.

Rover — Rover was my pet crup. I took him from Care of Magical Creatures when Profski abandoned him after the dust-storm hit. Unfortunately, he didn't like my family much, so Mom made me confess to Profski, and then she took Rover away.

S

Saul — Is two years below me in Pecari. I think I heard he's Cackling Dude's cousin or something. He's already got a reputation as an entertainer, and ooooohhh.. poor little guy took a nasty hit in the Quidditch when Gwennie knocked a bludger his way. He's a Chaser.

Seeker — Position in the game of Quidditch. Seekers seek to catch the Snitch, a tiny little golden ball with wings. If they catch it they get 150 points for their team, which usually (but not always) wins them the match.

Sonora — It's the magical school in the middle of the Painted Desert in Arizona! There's some kind of weather charms that keep everything nice (except in second year) and... I heard there's a ghost town somewhere nearby. Someone said it was called 'Tumbleweed' which is a weird name for a town. I wonder why it got called that.

Sorrel — Is my best friend, Ash's twin sister, and the first of the two who I met. I think she wants to be a boy, which is kinda sad, because she isn't one and never will be because she is a girl (although she made it up our corridor... maybe she is one after all). She beats up her brother (when he isn't beating her up) and she isn't very ticklish and she likes rough sports like Broom Jousting and playing Beater, like her brother, in Quidditch. And they both share the position of House Quidditch Captain. We had a big fight last year because Sorrie was being stupid about Ty but we're over that now. I got some letters from Ash that have me a bit... I dunno, worried about her. Apparently something's up. I'll have to find out what's going on when school's on again.

Spy Guy — Still holed up in his Library with his guard cat, Oscar when he isn't up to things with the statues on the paths, or meeting up with his contact Red Fox... hey! I wonder if there...s any connection between Red Fox and the hot new Coach...

Stephen — Is me! Everyone knows me, and everyone likes me - Pink Girl once even pretended to be me to try to be as cool as I am, but I caught her out. I'm in Pecari and I had a shiny red motorbike back at home where my older brother Alan looked after it for me. I trashed it this summer when I had my accident. Ah well, Alan said he thought I might be better off getting a new (or really, an old, but newly fixed up by him) one soon anyhow, because I'm starting to grow.

T

Tal — Is a girl in Teppenpaw whose real name is Tally. She's been my friend since first year, although, I'm telling you, she wasn't half so good looking then. She's getting pretty hot. Not hot like those girls who put heaps of effort into it, but hot none-the-less. She's really good at Defense Against the Dark Arts. She helped me to learn Expelliarmus, and was with me when I was first looking for the Knife-Wielding Maniac, although she laughed at me. Tal has a sense of humour, and likes to have fun. Still, it's kinda weird when girls you know suddenly become... girls. You know?

Teppenpaw — Is where Grump is the Head of House. I'm not entirely sure what kind of people get into that house, except that they're all friendly (even - and don't tell him I said this - the Grump himself sometimes). Maybe that's it.

TJ — Haughty guy in Crotalus who seems to be keeping a low profile these days.

Tori — Is another girl in my house. There are a lot of girls at Sonora. Tori apparently has moved around a lot, likes hexes and pranks and doesn't like maths. I don't see her around so much these days, but maybe she's also starting to grow up and look hot and is hiding. Or... maybe she's growing up and isn't getting hot, and she's hiding so no one has to see. I'm gonna look for her and find out.

Transfiguration — Is the class that Jeeves taught. I have the coolest green desk there (and it's mine, so hands off) and it's where I made my awesome green ink. One of these days I'm going to try to make some more, 'cause it looked cool. It's now taught by Marlowe, but I reckon there might be some kind of curse on the position. We'll know at midterm.

Ty — Photographs things like me with a Kneazle hat. Ash mentioned that she has a pet squirrel which he said is a "frickin' weird little scuzz ball" and that Ty is obsessed with it. I always reckoned she was ok for a girl though, and Ash says that if the squirrel isn't in the picture that he agrees. In second year she got hurt during the mud-storm and then last year she was my sorta girlfriend for a while. Not anymore though.

U

Uranus — A planet we might study in Astronomy. Also, good for jokes girls don't appreciate.

V

ValentineKeeper for the Crotalus Quidditch team, although, if his actions in their game versus Pecari were anything to go by, he wants to be something else. Chaser probably. Silly guy, everyone knows that it's the Keepers who get the girls. Or maybe that's just the Pecari Keeper.

W

Wagons — We travel to and from Sonora by flying Wagons. Cackling Dude looks after then the rest of the time in a shed somewhere in the Labyrinth gardens.

Wands — Are these sticks that have magical stuff in them that makes them cast spells when you wave them right and say words.

Weather — The weather went a bit mad second year. First there was a dust-storm, then there was a mud-storm, then there was a blizzard and then there was a flood. But they fixed it in the end. Generally it's really good though. Like really good. Freakish for a desert.

Williams — The new Muggle Studies Professor. I saw her name on a list, but that's it. There'll be more on her when her classes start. I wonder what you study in Muggle Studies...

Z

Zack — Is a little guy who is in Aladren. He had a Broom called Bones but now he's Seeker for his team so he had to trade it in for Enterprise who isn't as lazy. Zack is really, really smart but kinda weird about aliens. He's little enough that he has to watch out for strong winds though, and I don't think he likes crups. Oh, and he reads enough books that he's apparently got his own table in the Library now.

Author's Annotations

*When reading this, translate 'Anti-Boy' as 'Anti-Christ' and you'll have some idea as to how Stephen regards her.

When there are references to various school years they are to Stephen's school years. So, first year is Stephen's - and, oddly enough Sonora the site's - first year and so on and so forth.
