    • Jim Romenesko's MediaNews. A good place to keep up on media news, and, well, gossip. Features many links to media writers.
    • JournalismNet. Online resources for investigative journalists--search tools and much more.
    • Media and Peace Institute of the UN-founded University for Peace. Aims to educate people about the media's role in international war and peace issues.
    • Media Central. A site aimed at media and marketing professionals that features breaking news on media deals.
    • Media Channel. A media criticism site critical of corporate ownership, with links to articles on media from around the world.
    • Medialens.org. A good UK media-bias watchdog.
    • News Watch. An online zine that reports neglected news stories and corrects mainstream media errors.
    • PoisonKitchen.com. A site for angry journalists that includes a rant board, criticism, news and many links.
    • Project Censored. Identifies and promotes the most undercovered stories of the year.
    • Swans. An online journal, often focusing on media criticism.
    • This Modern World. The weekly cartoon of social and political satire, by Tom Tomorrow.
    • TomPaine.com. A public interest group that aims to encourage debate on issues like media, the environment and campaign finance reform.
