CHAPTER THREE Aaron was relieved to finally have someone to talk to, and what’s more, he knew them. “Why are you in here though?” Aaron said, “I mean, if you helped him why did he put you in there?” “We found out that what he was telling us was a bunch of lies, so Justin rescued Brian. However, they got caught in the act and Zator was going to send them both.” “What happened next?” Aaron asked. “The BSB came mainly to rescue Brian. I was the one closest to them, so I got saved first. This was because the doorway to the Daori dimension was open, and it was trying to suck us in. Brian got pulled in. The Backstreet Boys were about to go after him when a huge dragon came out of the Daori dimension, and I ran away,” Justin said. **************************************************** Nick answered the door after making sure that Zenell was hidden in the living room. (She wasn’t about to enter his wardrobe even though he didn’t have one.) He was happy to find that it was the guys. He invited them into the living room to talk after explaining that Zenell was there. “Do you think that we should call someone? How do you know that it was Zator who kidnapped Aaron?” Howie asked. “Follow me,” Nick instructed. He went upstairs with his band mates and girlfriend and showed them the glowing teddy bear. “I found this under his bed,” he said. Zenell reached out and touched the bear. “That was hit by a Zophacian stun gun in the last few hours. The paralysis is just starting to wear off,” Zenell said, “It was probably the same one used to kidnap your brother.” Nick nodded sadly. “I hope he’s ok,” he said. His voice came out as merely a croak because there was a huge lump in his throat. “If Zator thinks that he is you, then he will not kill Aaron because he is basically for blackmail purposes,” Zenell said. Nick nodded. “But what if Zator hurts him?” Nick asked. Zenell sighed. “I do not know,” she said. At that point, Nick just collapsed into a chair and started bawling. The rest of the Backstreet Boys and Zenell went over and comforted him. It was all that they could do. Zenell was the first to speak, “Hazak informed me that your brother is alright, however, he is a little shaken up and has absolutely no idea why he is there. Speaking of which, I have to contact him.” Zenell reached into her pocket and pulled out a small devise that resembled a palm pilot. She pushed a few buttons on it and a few moments later Hazak’s face appeared on the screen. The Backstreet Boys crowded around it. “Hello Hazak.” “Hello Zenell. Did you contact them?” “Yes they are right here. Apparently, Zator did not capture the correct human.” “He is there?” “Yes.” CHAPTER FOUR Aaron had been locked in the cell for 24 hours, chatting with *Nsync periodically. Now he desperately tried to chew through the rope that bound him. It was down to the last thread and a couple of seconds later, the rope broke. Aaron unwrapped the rope from around himself by pushing his arms out so the rope would loosen and then letting it fall to the floor. He was now free except for his prison cell that he would have to figure a way out of. After which he would have to free *Nsync. Aaron got up and walked around the room for a while to exercise his leg muscles. Yesterday he noticed that one of the floor tiles was raised above the others, right before he discovered that there was a prisoner in the room to the left of his. It was inhabited by some guy named Hazak who apparently was not surprised at the fact that Aaron was not Nick. The guy told him that the raised tile at the other corner of the room had an amulet underneath it, so Aaron went over to the tile, and lifted it. Once it was off, he put it to the side, and discovered that the ‘amulet’ that Hazak was talking about was in fact the necklace that Zator had taunted him with. He picked it up and, seeing nothing else to do with it, he put it on and touched the glowing red gem in the middle. Zenell and Nick sat on the love seat in Nick’s living room that night attempting to contact Hazak a second time. There was no answer. They tried again, and this time Zenell’s father answered instead of her friend. “Hello Zenell,” he said. He then became confused after seeing Nick sitting next to Zenell and gently squeezing her hand. “Father!” “You may be surprised to know that I have your little friend locked in one of my cells at the moment.” At that point Zenell was having a difficult time trying to keep herself from throwing the devise that she was trying to use to contact Hazak across the room. Nick noticed this. “Shhh, calm down, Zenell,” he whispered in her ear. Zenell promptly shut the devise off. She sighed. Nick wrapped his arms around her to comfort her, and she wrapped her arms around him and rested her head on his shoulder. Soon, they fell asleep like that. After waking up, AJ went downstairs to eat breakfast when he noticed Nick’s head sticking up above the love, indicating that he was sitting there. After making some toast, he went over to sit on the couch next to the loveseat. When he got there, he found Nick and Zenell sleeping. Laughing to himself, he grabbed a camera on the counter and took a picture, after which he took a picture. As soon as the connection had been detonated, Zator realized that the human on his ship was not the Backstreet Boy that he had been looking for but a different human. CHAPTER FIVE Aaron felt a charge pass through his body when he touched the gem. He wanted to find out why Nick was called Ninja Man. Instantly, he changed from a normal boy into a ninja. ‘Well, there’s no doubt in my mind why he’s called Ninja Man,’ he thought, ‘Nick must change into this when he puts the necklace on.’ Aaron looked into the compartment in the floor and found another amulet. He took the one that he was wearing off and put the one that he had just found on. He was turned into the ninja again. Aaron was disappointed. He wanted to turn into a basketball player that could jump very high, run ultra fast, and throw energy balls. He felt a charge go through him again, and instantly, he was changed into the basketball player. ‘I wonder if I could turn into a marksman,' he thought. Instantly, he turned into a marksman. ‘I want to turn into Spiderman.’ Nothing happened. ‘Ok, I want to turn into someone who is ultra strong and has a super-high IQ.’ He was turned into a guy with red armor who obviously was strong and had a high IQ. The IQ change wasn’t drastic because Aaron had a high IQ anyway, but it was enough for him to realize that the superheroes that he was becoming were actually what the BSB changed into when they put the amulets on. Aaron was excited with his discovery. He replaced the floor tile after checking to make sure that there was nothing else in there, and took the two amulets over to the wall that his cell shared with *Nsync’s. “Guess what?” he exclaimed while changing back into the basketball player. “What?” “I can get us out of here.” ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ N’sync were relieved to find out that Aaron could help them get out of there, they just wondered how. “Do you have a spaceship or something?” “No, I have the amulets,” Aaron said. *Nsync were stunned. “All six of them?” “No, I only have two.” “Two? You should only have one because as far as we know, you were the only one that Zator kidnapped. When he did, he took your brother’s amulet.” “Then why did I find two?” “I don’t know. Just get us out of here.” “Alright, back away from the wall that we share.” Right after they did, the wall blew up. Aaron stood there in Brian’s hero costume looking amazed at what he just did. “Cool!” he exclaimed. Aaron then went over to the wall that he shared with Hazak and blew it up as well. “We must get out of here now before Zator finds out,” Hazak said. “Ok.” ********************************* Nick was pacing back and forth trying to figure out a way to get Aaron off of Zator’s ship when Zenell’s devise that she used to contact Hazak started beeping. Zenell picked it up and pushed a button while Nick looked over her shoulder. “Hello?” she said. “Who the heck are you?” Aaron asked. Nick was so happy that his precious baby brother was alive. “Aaron! You’re ok!” he exclaimed. Aaron smiled, and nodded. “Yeah, I’m ok just like the time I jumped out of the palm tree in out backyard and I… oops. I wasn’t supposed to tell you that.” Laughing was heard in the background. Hazak whispered something to Aaron who nodded. “I’m just glad you’re ok.” “Where are you?” Zenell asked. “I have no idea where…,” Aaron started. “We are in the room that *Nsync stayed in when they were working for Zator,” Hazak finished. “Ok. That is a good place to hide. No one ever goes in there unless there is a visitor,” Zenell said. “I just have one question since you probably know Zator well. Why is the crew of this place all male?” Aaron asked. “Well, on my planet, we have a matrilineal society where the men usually do not work. Because this is so, my father hires them because they are willing to work for a lower pay than he would have to give the women,” Zenell said. “Oh,” Aaron said, “Um, we have to go.” “Ok,” Nick said, “I love you bro.” “You too,” Aaron said. “Bye.” “Bye.” BACK NEXT |
