I have visited numerous web sites about clarinets and gathered information and pictures that would be beneficial to my site. I have been playing the clarinet for approximately 9 years so the site will be credible.
I believe the main audience for this site will be obviously, all clarinet players. It's not necessarily aimed at a younger or older audience. The site is probably aimed at an audience of beginner clarinet players or prospective clarinet players. Perhaps if I went further with this web site I would expand to reach out to more of a younger audience.
I wouldn't say that I want anybody to "learn" anything from this site but I just want to provide some basic information for beginner clarinet players to get a hold on what the clarinet is all about.
The image on the home page contrasts a lot with the background so it might grab the viewer's eye. I loved the background I used for the site. I found it somewhere and thought it was very classy and had a neutral color so the text could easily be read.
