Is your mailbox always full with pix from eGroups? You can't keep up with the barrage of pix from some groups? Do you frequently bounce all over eGroups because your SP returns your posts undelivered, saying there isn't any more room in your mailbox? If the answer is "yes" to these questions, then quit your bitching and do something about it.

1. What can I do if guys insist on sending many pix?

You can always unsubscribe, but, as the old saying has it, that's like "cutting your nose off to spite your face."  Why don't you change your delivery option so that you stop flood? When you that, you can go to the group's web site and download the pictures you want, when you want to and not when the mail arrives.

 

2.1. Go to the eGroups web site. If you don't know where that is, click on the eGroups picture to the right:
2.2. If you go there only infrequently, you will have to sign in.  2.3. Enter your complete Email address and Password. Then left-click on the Sign In button.  It's also a good idea to check the Remember Me box so that next time you'll go directly to My Groups.
2.4. If you don't immediately see all the groups you have joined, click on the tab that says My Groups.
2.5. Look for the group that is sending too much mail for you to handle conveniently. To the extreme right of that,  on the same line and in the column marked Delivery options, you will find this box.
2.6. Left-click on the little down arrow to display a drop-down menu. Left-click on No Mail / Web Only.
2.7 Click on the Save Changes button.  Now, no more floods, no more bouncing, no more full mail boxes. And peace will reign in the kingdom (or queen-  dom, if you prefer) once more.
