Cheryl Adams

Cheryl Adams

One can safely assume two things about an artist who believed in her talent enough to sacrifice everthing for the best in vocal, instrumental, dance, and dramatic education and training - either she is good, or she ought to be.

Cheryl Adams is no starry-eyed dreamer; rather a visionary and a business person. She shewdly examines her assets, and perpetually and systematically builds upon them. Why...? Because her goals are realistic and attainable. Cheryl has a vision, and applies that same vision in her careful assembly of the puzzle commonly referred to as a "show business career". It is not by chance that Cheryl Adams has gone from S.O.B's, in concert with Marion Meadows (RCA) to singing, live, a capella, at the White House for the Pesident. Her voice was remarked to have been "the finest gift to Barbara Streisand at her bithday party". All that combined with acting and comedic performances on Saturday Night Live and the Improv, clearly evidence this great talent's strengths. Cheryl has character, does characters, and is a character. She is a virtual variety show waiting to happen.

Only a few in the business have taken an operatic background and gone on to successfully transferring this rare and learned adeptness to singing Rock. In this category, Cheryl Adams joins the likes of Michael McDonald and John Sedada. She has taken an operatic power and immense vocal ability to a completely different genre, and made it work. Her unique style has been comically coined as "Janis Joplin meets Tina Turner meets Carley Simon".

They say that the formula for sucess is 60% preparation, and 40% oppurtunity. With proven talent in vocals, musical instruments, songwriting, acting, and stage presence, opportunity is really the only thing left that Cheryl Adams needs. This curvaceous, gorgeous, gifted, astute, young women has got everything esle, even, remotely, imaginable, covered.
