1999

We met Steps a few times in 1999, firstly when they opened the new ride 'Stormforce 10' at Drayton Manor theme park in April. Lisa was ill and therefore couldn't attend but H, Faye, Lee and Claire did although Claire decided against going on the new ride or any others!!!

In October we won tickets to a recording of Top of the Pops at a Birmingham nightclub and Steps were there to record After The Love Has Gone. We weren't allowed to take fotos but we met them all and got their autographs on an old receipt - the only paper we had on us! A month later Steps returned to Birmingham for their Next Step Tour at the NEC and while they were here they did an album signing at HMV. Unfortunately, fotos could only be taken from a distance so the quality is not very good...
