Stereopath's history began four years ago under the name of "Sodasm", a popular Northern Beaches act which built its reputation and loyal fan base from a distinct sound and exciting live shows. After several line up changes, Stereopath now consists of Dean on vocals, Mike on bass, Jose on guitar, Jimmi Skinz on drums, Corey L Hard on trumpet, and Dave on percussion. Influenced by early funk and soul, as well as hip-hop, Stereopath combine elements of these styles to create a unique, fresh sound using their strong sense of rhythm as a driving force. This, coupled with an energetic stage-presence and well-rehearsed sets is no wonder Stereopath always get a great response even from a tough audience.

Having played on events such as Manly youthfest, supported predominant alternative acts such as Spider Bait, MC Trey, On Inc., The Porkers, and Erratic; Stereopath know what it is like to perform at events of high stakes. Stereopath have also made their mark by appearing on a Nothern-Beaches bands compilation “Nothern Compsure”. The band has recenlty enjoyed a steady gigging schedule completing a weekly residency at the popular inner-City Sydney venue, The Cat & Fiddle. Stereopath are currently gigging around various Sydney suburbs, constantly exposing their fresh sound to new audiences who find themselves bopping, dancing and trancing to the irrestible Stereopath groove- before they even know it.
