I was in Charlotte not to long ago, September, for a convention and while I was there I saw some famous reporters and anchors from all the networks.  The convention was for the Radio and Television News Directors Association.  Just about every television station in the country was represented there, even my little ole Snowshoe-TV.  So here are some of the pictures of me and my staff and some famous folks in Charlotte.

This is Brian Williams from MSNBC and NBC News...Most likely to replace Tom on the evening news.  Brian was the keynote speaker at the Murrow Awards...he is a very good speaker, not boring, very funny.

This is me with Bob Dodson, reporter for NBC News.  He is probably one of the best reporters out there now.  He's not out for blood and guts, he does those stories that really get you in the gut and make you think.  One of the best story tellers of all time.  One of  my idols.

This is Hugh Downs accepting his award for 61 years in the news business.  He has retired from 20/20.  He was actually sitting two rows in front of me.  This man is truly one of the great newsmen of all time.

Chris, Melissa, me and Clif Oliver at the NBC Newschannel facilities in Charlotte.  This is where most of the video you see on your local NBC affiliates comes from.  This is where we send video when we want to get it out to NBC stations or network.  Lots of satellites here taking in video from around the world.  A real neat place to check out.  Clif use to be a regional coordinater for them, he now freelances for them.

This is me with Noreen Turen(?) and Jean Jadhon.  Noreen is an anchor with channel 13 ABC in Lynchburg, VA and Jean is an anchor with channel 7 CBS in Roanoke, VA.  I used to work for channel 10 NBC in that area and worked with them on a couple of stories and partied with them too.  Cool ladies...this was taken at another ABC party.
