MILK

Milk is delivered to the village by two dairies:

NEWSPAPERS

Newspapers can be ordered for collection in the shop at the Ellesmere Centre. Please enquire in the shop for details.

REFUSE COLLECTION

The dustbin bags are collected on Friday mornings. They can be put out at the edge of your property the evening before, but no earlier.


Recycling is collected on alternate Wednesdays. Newspapers, magazines and junk mail go into the black box. Glass and cans go into separate bags in the black box. Organic waste, cardboard and telephone directories go into the paper sacks.


Please ring Cleanaway on 01353 863864 to request dustbin bags and recyling boxes and sacks.


Plastic bottles (with number 1, 2 or 3 in the triangle on the bottom) can be recycled at the Ellesmere Centre.

SHOPS

There is a well-stocked shop and post office in the Ellesmere Centre on weekday mornings. The shop sells a range of fresh vegetables, bread and milk as well as tinned goods etc. The post office stocks stationery and birthday cards. Newspapers can be ordered for collection from the shop.

There are supermarkets in Newmarket (Waitrose and Tesco)
