The life of NINA

I have recently installed aluminum pedals and foot rest. The job was a little awkward (upside down in the foot well for about an hour), but easy enough. Thanks to Vincent Hall as the designer/manufacturer/seller.  pedals.jpg (118573 bytes) Now with red brakes. Nice easy job.  Brakes.jpg (88824 bytes)
Engine after a quick clean. Not a bad start.  Engine1.jpg (115018 bytes)

Elvington Track Day    On 23 Oct I stopped off in Elvington (only 10 mins from the house) to have a quick look at a track day. Learnt a lot about what I would need if I ever thought about doing it - spare set of tyres/brake pads and a helmet to name a few. Good to watch, especially the spins. HERE is a nice recovery from a Honda S2000.

Visit from Rob, Trisha and Adam

These reprobates are long standing good friends. Rob has always been "into" his cars. Here are some pics of his car and then ours together. He now runs a Fiat Coupe 2.0.Turbo. Having had a quick drive, I can say it is a quick car. Probably quicker than my FTO - in a straight line. Think I would take any bendy bits!

Next lot of shiny stuff (12 Dec 04)

Engine bay now looks better (thanks to Vince once again!!). The Kick Plates are OK but not very good at sticking. I will need to investigate a more stickable solution. Also, changed the footrest colour to match the engine.

Definitely need to get it lowered next. Apex springs looking good. Watch this space!
