Come Igor, I have some parts to assemble. Not the two sift handles on the trans. The shorty is what I am using, but I am swapping to the longer one. The short one is just too short for comfort even if it's the only one that clears the ashtray. None of the shifter handles are stock, they are all Hurst handles. Speaking of Hurst, the shifter is a Hurts Indy shifter for a NON overdrive A833. Oh yeah, the A833 is out of a 70 Dart. The bellhousing is from a 74 or newer A body. Note the one car garage, yes it's full of other than car too.

First thing I had to do was pull the seat, then the steering column, then the dash then the carpet got rolled back. This allowed me to install the pedal assembly easier, but that meant pulling the power brake booster too. Note here you can see two allen head stainless bolts, that is where I had to drill two holes to mount the additional bracket the clutch pedal uses, I later used the factory setup to bolt it on as getting to these bolts to tighten them up with the booster installed is impossible.

Speaking of holes, I had to cut a hole for the clutch pedal to Z bar linkage. Note how close it is to the brake line and speedo cable hole, clears it all like it was made to. Just above it you can see one of those allen headed bolts I mentioned. Crossing under the steering shaft is the Z bar. The inner ball stud for the Z bar bolted right up to the A body bellhousing, using an F body stud/bracket. You cannot use the A body one as it will not allow the Z bar to sit close enough to the bell for the outer stud to mount flush to the inner fender. I made this mount out of a ~5" square piece of 1/8" thick stainless. The holes are drill at 2.25" centers on the plate. The holes in the inner fender were there from the factory to mount the plate, use a J nut, and allow the stud to mate with the Z bar. Cool or what?

To the point of no return! I had to cut the floor to clear the transmission and linkage. The screwdriver is used to align the shifter for linkage adjustment. Note the lines marking the outer limits of the hump. I cut ~1/2" inside of these lines. Worked fine. I got the hump out of an 80 Volare. This was probably the best donor for later M bodies as it doesn't require mods to the clutch pedal and you can use it's steering column as a bolt in replacement. I have more pictures, but I have to find them.
