Kitty Rankie was a French domestic of the castle. Suspected of practicing black magic, she was arrested then found guilty of being a witch. She was put in jail in the castle until her guilt was finally proven. She was burned on a hill near the castle. Her spirit, still angry, comes back to the castle since the day of her death.
