| Today, Danesfield House is a privately run hotel. During renovations a workman saw phantom footprints suddenly appear on a ceiling area. Shortly after this event the building mysteriously caught fire and extensive damage occurred. The building was repaired but once again the phantom footprints mysteriously appeared on the ceiling and the building caught fire for a second time. |
