| A white lady is supposed to haunt the garden of this inn. There is also a mischievous spirit that hides things, and ghostly footsteps are heard going up and down the wide central staircase. The ghost of 'Sukie' is seen the most often. A girl who worked there, she was stoned to death. Some visitors reported being stroked by her cold fingers as they lie sleeping. |
