| Apparently, just following some particularly active ghostly goings on in one of the rooms of the house, it was decided that the room be boarded up and whatever spirits remained to be left to move on – sometime later, two housemaids decided to overcome their curiosity by taking a peek inside the room from the room directly above by prising up floorboards, as a light was shone in the room they noticed it was littered throughout with feathers. Nobody to this day has been able to explain why this was. |
