| St. Donats is haunted by a myriad of spirits. A panther is said to roam the passage at night, the armoury is troubled by a 'hideous old woman - a piano has been heard to play when no-one has been near it, a single eerie eye has been witnessed floating in a bedroom. Two female spirits have also been seen. One appears in the Long Gallery and is said to foretell disaster, the other appears once a year to search for her love. |
