| Home of the Scudamore family since the 11th Century, where Owen Glendower had been known to take refuge frequently after bloody battles with the English. No-one is sure who actually haunts the house though many rooms are said to contain the essence of an eerie presence. Several members of staff have seen a girl looking out of a bedroom window, waiting for somebody, and one particular guest who stayed overnight reported in the morning that he couldn’t sleep a wink because of hearing strange noises, the cleaners later found he had jammed a large oak chair against the small door which led to the cellars. |
